Nice stay with beautiful view.

Pros: Nice location, clean, parking in front of the house, good communication, hot shower. Nice balcony with beautiful view. Nice heater. Tipical restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Cons: Not being able to put up the showerhead on the wall. The bed was not super comfy.

Pros: Although it is a bit outside the city, the panoramic view surpasses the distance. You don’t need advanced driving skills to get to the property as previous reviewers commented. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The quietness of the surrounding will give you perfect sleeping conditions. Good cost/benefit ratio!

Very beautiful and romantic place ,especially for the young and fit people with their own transport

Pros: Superb high location, about 700 meters above sea level with a majestic view of Funchal and the ocean .The famous and beautiful Curral das Freiras- Valley of the Nuns, is a short , a few minutes away ride by car, or bus. Also just by the Estrela place runs Levada da Lombo with a demanding hiking opportunity ,very steep in places. Our room and nice bathrooms were quite large,clean and comfortable .Also we enjoyed our private patio with the splendid view of Funchal,

Cons: At the time of our stay the restaurant above our room was being renovated so we could not have the breakfast provided , Also transportation by bus was a little tiring as the road is winding, long and steep in places .the bus services infrequent -sometimes we had to take Uber services instead .

Pros: The room was big and the location is in a calm area ! The person in the hotel is nice :)

Pros: We stayed for 1 night, everything was ok. Good place if you don’t want to stay in city rush. Close to “Eira do Serrado” viewpoint.

Pros: Da higiene do espaço. Do quarto em si era bom. O funcionário foi educado e simpático e deixou-nos muito confortáveis.

Cons: O facto de não ter uma cama de casal, foi o que mais nos incomodou.

Pros: Un lieu calme et reposant.. le restaurant de grill juste a côté. La terrasse, la vue. Accès à la rando qui mène à Curral das freiras a seulement 3,5km du logement

Pros: Très propre avec tout le confort nécessaire à un prix imbattable. La vue sur Funchal est magnifique.

Pros: Big room, great view. All the amenities incl. little heater. Good value if you have a car. There is even a bus to Funchal passing every 3-4 hours.

Cons: No check in information until I contacted the property past check in time.
