Peak A Boo Private Heated Pool and Private Parking

Pros: The villa is beautiful, well equipped, and the views from the villa are magnificent. Nelio & Ana were also very attentive & helpful.

Cons: The small road that takes you the final kilometre to the villa is a challenging drive due to it being single track (with passing places). I got used to it after a couple of days, but my partner didn't enjoy the experience. Less confident drivers may prefer to rely on Ubers rather than self drive as in addition to driving to the villa, as everyone seems to speed on the main roads!

Wonderful host, modern and spacious home with stunning views.

Pros: Ana is an exceptionally welcoming host, with everything perfectly prepared to make the stay wonderful. The house itself is modern, spacious, and very functional, offering every comfort you could need. Add to that the unbeatable views, and you have the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience. Absolutely impossible to find a single flaw.

A Honeymoon to Remember.....

Pros: We stayed at Peak a Boo for our honeymoon, and it was the memorable experience we both hoped it would be. To echo what others have said, the villa itself is absolutely beautiful, finished to the very highest of standards, with a view over the Atlantic to die for. Ana, our host, couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, even ordering in an ice bucket to chill the Champers on our final evening! Her lovely dog, Truque, helped to make our stay complete, as we are both dog lovers, so his company helped to fill the canine gap we had, having left our pooches at home! We loved our stay so much that we have already booked for next year to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and are counting the days until we go back to Peak a Boo! Such a stunning place to relax and unwind....

Cons: Nothing at all!

Truly relaxing break - Madeira is a beautiful island with lots of great restaurants and stunning places to visit .

Pros: Amazing views, fantastic heated pool beautiful villa fully equipped. Very comfortable and Ana the host was lovely .

Cons: Just the drive up to it - very narrow in places and poorly surfaced but due to be re surfaced this year .

Pros: The host was amazing, super informative and always willing to help, the veiw was to die for, there was no issues with parking, the property was super clean and fully equipped with all necessary appliances and more. We really appreciate the welcome goodies, and the kids where over the moon to the fact that they didn't want to leave. We will definitely be booking to come again in the future.

Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike, we had a amazing time there.

Pros: This is a special villa in a unique location with the most amazing panoramic view of Camara de Lobo's and FUnchal. The villa is like a show home with great showers comfy beds with quality linen/duvets. Great air con and even a tumble dryer which is super handy. The TV is the biggest I've ever seen but to be honest we spent more time looking at the view!! The terrace is in sun from sunrise until about 4pm then there is a wee small area beside the pool which gets the sun until 6pm. The pool was heated. Ana was friendly and helpful but totally respected our privacy..The houses are joined but theirs is set right back behind the villa and screened well for privacy. I wanted somewhere special to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and it is super special!! Thank you for letting us stay..xx

Cons: The last part of the road to the house is only wide enough for 1 car. Like many roads in Madeira it was a bit scary at first but you do get used to it. It is a very small price to pay to get the amazing location.

Beautiful place with breathtaking views

Pros: We stayed at the wonderful Peak A Boo at the start of April. Magnificent, spacious accommodation with amazing views day and night from every room. Very boujee and tastefully decorated accommodation which has everything that you might need. Extremely clean as well. Ana was a great host who was very friendly, helpful, and available to answer any questions . Heated pool was a bonus. As another reviewer said, Ana asked if we would be ok with some building works in the basement, and it was only for one day. She made it clear that we didn't have to agree to it. We agreed, and she offered us compensation for the inconvenience. We didn't have any issues at all - we didn't even see the builders or hear them. We are already planning to go back to Madeira, and we will definitely book this place again without any hesitation - worth every penny! Thank you, Ana, for making our stay so enjoyable!
