Heritage Apartments

Pros: First of all, the location is at the central Funchal. Walking to everything, ex. Mercado dos Lavradores, Rua de Santa Maria, CR7 Museum and lots of restaurants and cafes. The unit is clean and well-maintained. The bed is very comfortable. It is a must for us after a whole day of walking. This apartment provides a private parking which makes it stress-free when one settles back after a road trip. We are definitely staying here again when we return.

Would recommend and come back!

Pros: Great location, easy communication with the team, private parking space, easy self check-in, outside area and all stuff we needed, spacious

Cons: single beds haven’t been very comfortable, a bit noisy from the small street, there were ants in the double-bedroom and kitchen

My daughter and I had a pleasant stay and if we ever returned to Madeira would certainly book again

Pros: Beautifully renovated, furnished, well equipped and spacious apartment, set in a reasonably quiet street close to all areas of Funchal city. Having both an outside seating area and car parking space an added bonus.

Cons: Just a personal thing really, would have been nice to meet the hosts. All instructions were sent by email after we had arrived in Madeira so if you didn't have internet/email access on your phone this could have been a problem.

Great location and cleanliness, but lacking ventilation

Pros: The location is excellent, the private parking is very convenient, and the room was very clean.

Cons: The room has no natural light or fresh air, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes. There is no screen on the door, and the mosquito-repellent device provided wasn’t effective. Additionally, the mattresses were a bit too soft for us.

Beautiful apartment in the centre of Funchal.

Pros: The property was very spacious with an amazing central location in Funchal.

Cons: The WIFI connection wasn’t great. This was fine for our particular trip but I wouldn’t stay here if planning to do work remotely.

Pros: Location, beautiful large apartment, host was very helpful, excellent facilities.

Cons: The single beds were a litte bit uncomfortable.

We were very happy with the apartment and it’s secluded, quiet setting immediately adjacent to all the most interesting

Pros: It was situated in a really convenient location, the premises were very clean, secure and well appointed.

Cons: Ideally, it would have had air conditioning to keep it cool. Instead, small electric fans were needed.

Spacious & well located

Pros: This spacious, well-equipt apartment was right in the middle of town and a great place to base ourselves for few days while exploring Funchal.The parking was excellent and it was all as expected.

Cons: Would have loved mosquito screens in the living room too but this was a minor issue.

Pros: we love the place! superb location, very spacious apartment, very friendly hostess Beatriz. she helped us a lot! if you have family trip to Madeira, stay in the historical center in Funchal in general and in Heritage apartment would be your best choice!
