Five Design Rooftop by Storytellers

Pros: Perfect location for everything in Funchal. Surprised how quiet it was. Lovely terrace with view of the hills.

Pros: excellent location ,we love being in the city so ideal for us ..not noisy ,perfect apartment .very clean .very comfy beds ..we had a great time ...

Clean, comfortable, central location.. everything on the doorstep

Pros: This is a great apartment in a really central location. Access was easy, parking accessibility though we didn’t require it, a lift and a great roof terrace to relax on overlooking the old town .

Cons: Only (slightly) negative was the living area was a bit dark but the light flooding in through the bedroom windows helped.

Lovely apartment

Pros: The apartment was well situated. Supermarket right opposite, 3 mins walk for airport bus and only 5 mins from harbour and old town. Apartment had everything you needed for a short break, was clean and comfortable.

Cons: You may want ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as theirs what sounds like a very large air con unit going most of the night in the building opposite. It didn't bother me, but some people may find it disturbs them.

Pros: everyday cleaning. new towels, communication with cristina, breakfast included 2 minutes from / and breakfast to door in su day

Pros: Very good location,daytime lovely busy with positive vibes,during the night calm enough to sleep like a kid. Stron wifi,good communication,easy in and out with the codes. Rooftop just amazing.

Pros: Facilities, the rooms and the apartment was as expected in this price level. And the address midtown is perfect.

Cons: We never found the instruction for renter if in the mail the day before arriving, meaning it took quite a while to get it solved. Luckily the woman on the phone understood and helped us by texting us on WhatsApp, very good! In fact I had no idea, that it was an Airbnb type of booking, so I was surprised by this fact.

Place is great, noise not that great

Pros: The spaciousness of the apartment, the rooftop terrace

Cons: The shop downstairs , though it’s great it’s there if you have a room in the lower part of the building you will hear the beep of the tills the whole day. And the lorries refurnishing the shop at six in the morning and taking their blessed time not turning their 1980’s engine off for the hour they work. And by then the other shops do the same.

An amazing location and a clean and bright apartment.

Pros: The location is excellent with supermarkets and places to eat literally right outside. It also wasn't loud at night which was great. Having a separate section with the ned for our eldest was also helpful.

Cons: The included breakfast wasn't great for us. If we stayed again we would probably sort our own breakfast out.

Very comfort and central location place to stay

Pros: The location couldn’t have been better. Close to the centre and a supermarket across the road. The apartment was very clean. Lovely ladies came every day to clean and make the beds. Loved the breakfast and it was a 2 minute walk to get to the breakfast spot. What was offered for breakfast was very healthy but if you are a bacon and eggs sort of person, it may not be for you.

Cons: Every morning at 6am the refrigeration or cooling system came on in the supermarket over the road. It was a bit noisy. However, by the end of the week we didn’t notice it as much.
