Marvellous but flawed
Pros: It has a brilliant location and is spacious. The kitchen was equipped well.. it also has an elevator & choice of 3 breakfasts in the morning. Loved how close it was to the market & Old Town & the Marina. No keys, just door codes was awesome too.
Cons: The description said it was soundproofed & it was not at all.. to the outside or to adjoining rooms. It's on a very popular street so the noise starts early. Also, I like a softer bed & the bed was lacking a box spring. The furniture was not expensive looking at all & scuffed up.

Fabulous location!
Pros: The location could not be better- a beautiful pedestrian street with the cafeteria next door on the left (super coffee!) and the cafe for breakfast next door on the right. The marina is a 5 minute walk and the yellow bus 3 in 1 is 2 minutes away. A big supermarket is just across the street (fabulous fresh fish!). Restaurants, cafes, ice cream places, shops are nearby as well. The check-in process is very fast. You are given the code to enter the building and the room. The apartment is spacious, spotless, light, tastefully decorated. The kitchen has all utensils necessary for cooking your own meals. We are planning to return to this hotel in the summer time.
Cons: The hotel has no staff onsite. They all work remotely. I wrote a message via booking.com and waited 10 days for a reply. If you have a question/problem, call them or write a message on whats app.

Pros: The apartment was spotlessly clean and bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, microwave, kettle, stove/oven & the plus was a washing machine. We loved the location... literally steps away from the grocery store & shops + market. The bus stops were less than a 10-minute walk. Cristina was amazing and quick at responding to any queries we had. Definitely look forward to visiting Funchal again and staying at this location.

Pros: The location was perfect, the apartment was very clean, perfect for our stay, bed was comfortable enough and not much noise from outside.
Cons: The shower had low pressure (I think mainly because we were in a island, maybe) and we weren't able to regulate the water temperature, it was all the same temperature, which was not unpleasant, but would like to have the option of choosing hot water or cold water. Even if the location was central, for what it was, the price could be a bit lower, specially considering we went during low season.

Had a great stay in Funchal. Beautiful city.
Pros: Excellent location, Clean, Comfortable. As a couple, it was a great place to stay for a short visit. We ate out, so we didn’t need to cook on the premises. The property was straight across from a large Pingo Doce shop.
Cons: Didn’t have its own parking We parked in the nearby shopping centre under the Pingo Doce shop which was just under €2 /hr. As we arrived in Funchal on a Saturday, parking on the street is free on the blue areas after 2 pm and also free on a Sunday but it can be difficult to find a free spot.

Great location for a few days in Funchal.
Pros: Great location for sightseeing,, 1 min walk from the farmer’s market, 6 min walk from the cable car station, lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Very clean and new apartment.
Cons: It’s hard to find a free parking slot there are very limited public parking spots in the area (blue lines), there is a shopping mall next to the apartment parking for the while days cost 15€ per calendar day.
