Lovely apartment with pool and sea view

Chance to sleep right above the crashing waves

Pros: It was all about the location & the balcony overlooking the sea for us - and it didn't disappoint. You see & hear the waves crashing on the shore all day & night which (we thought) was wonderful. Bars & restaurants are only a short walk away; the promenade stretches for a mile or so east & 3 or so miles west (to a twee village & harbour).

Cons: beds were lumpy/too soft for our liking. The apartment is in a condiminium so there's not much charm/character.

Pros: Great views. Easy beach access with a seafront bar next door. Free parking. Clean. Spacious.

Cons: Accessibility from the main road, very difficult to go to/from hotel without having to climb uphill/steps which was difficult (and I'm reasonably fit), we found that getting a Bolt was an option of getting around this! Lastly it would've been nice if the host a left a bottle of water on our arrival, and there was no shower gel, which both are inexpensive and could have easily been laid on. All that said, it didn't take away from is enjoying this wonderful apartment!

Pros: A lovely apartment, with a incredible view! A very helpfull host. We had a great time there. The wifi is fast and reliable. Parking the car was easy. (it is rare in Madeira)

Cons: The TV was okay, but i missed a smartTV to view streaming services, photos.

Pros: Nicely decorated apartment with a lot of daylight. A welcome gift (water, wine, and local pastry) delighted us upon arrival. Amazing view, sunrises and sunsets from a balcony with seating.

Cons: We didn't have a new sponge in the kitchen but the old dirty one, dishwashing liquid was also missing, but we bought them later in a local supermarket.

Unbelievably gorgeous view of paradise close to everything

Pros: The view is incredible. It really is just like the photos. The space is big and clean. There's amenities like a hotel, like the hair dryer and tons of soft towels. Some coffee pods were provided, which is key for us. Just be aware that there's no body wash or shampoo provided, but this isn't a negative for me. The owner was super helpful and communicative. They arranged the apartment specifically for us, putting in an extra bed in the living room. The location is incredible. There's a walkway along the ocean and through a cave to where there's an area with natural pools. There's a bar on the beach just below the place. Tons of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Very easy to get to funchal.

Pros: Great location, right on the beach. Short walk through tunnel to sea-filled swimming pool and supermarket. Fantastic fish restaurant next door. Owners were very helpful and accommodating.

Cons: We didn’t know the actual address to give to taxis. It’s called ‘Atlantic Garden Apartments’.

Pros: Lovely view, sound of the ocean, pool. Comfortable living room, good kitchen. Comfy beds in the bedroom. Good communication with the owners.

Pros: The whole apartment is fantastic: clean, stylish, spacious, well-equipped and comes with a huge balcony. To top it all, it is right on the coast.
