It's is an amazing apartment!
Pros: The accommodation and location is perfect - to the center of Funchal you need to walk 50 min but you can also take city bus (about 10 minutes to the center, for 1,95€) from the bus stop close to the apartment. Also the airport bus has their stop just near to the apartment. Right next to the apartment is the Forum Madeira shopping center, where you can find everything. We received a small welcome and goodbye gifts from the host which was additional plus. Mary is a very-very kind, and helpful person, she recommended us restaurants in the area and in Funchal also. She even allowed us to postpone the check-out to a later time. I really recommend this apartment.

Pros: The accommodation was perfect. Mary is very kind and recommended us restaurants in the area. She even allowed us to postpone the check-out to a later time. It is about a 40-minute walk to the center on the sidewalk. Right next to the apartment is the Forum Madeira shopping center, where you can find everything. I really recommend this apartment.

Pros: The apartment was just perfect. We were staying for 2 weeks. Apartment was very clean, there is elevator so it is easy with suitcase. We received a small welcome and goodbye gifts from the host which was additional plus. Location is perfect - to the center of Funchal you need to walk 40 min but you can also take city bus for 1,5 euro just from the bus stop close to the apartment. Also the airport bus has their stop just next to the apartment, so you don't need to take expensive taxi. There is a shopping mall 100m from apartment, plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also go to the beach where there is a few beach bars. Balcony has really nice view for the street but also an ocean and mountiatins. There is actually 3 balconies in the apartment, so it was nice suprise. Highly recommended.
Cons: It can get a bit loud as the apartment is next to busy street. Especially in bedroom, you can hear cars in the nigth. If you have problems with sleep, I recommend to get ear plugs or something like that.

FABULOUS option for a visit to Madeira!
Pros: The location in São Martinho was close to the center of Funchal (2 miles) but not right in the city, which made it a bit more peaceful. Mary was an incredibly helpful host. She responded quickly, was incredibly helpful, and made me feel very welcome. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. The private parking was safe and convenient. Everything you need for food and shopping is a short walk down the street. I was able to explore the whole island from here in easy day trips. I wish I never had to leave!
Cons: There is traffic noise from the street that cannot be avoided. Just bring your earplugs if you need them to sleep. Otherwise, this place is perfect!

The Best place to explore Madeira
Pros: The host is very helpful and super friendly. The apartment is well equiped, clean and is located in good area (groceries, bakary nearby). The apartment offers free parking spot and the view from one balcony is really nice.

Pros: Everything was excellent. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and we'll equipped. Location is great, in a nice neighbourhood, just nearby a shopping centre and few bus stops. Mary (our host) was very nice and easy to reach. She welcomed us with with local wine and sweets and send us home with Madeiran chocolates. There was also a dedicated parking space in the parking building which speared us troubles and money.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is that window frames are not quite sound proofing so it may get a bit noisy by the street traffic. However it is bearable.

Perfect Stay and Location
Pros: All about the apartment is very positive - espacious and comfortable. Location is perfect, so well connected to the centre and close to really nice neighbourhood with all you may need at the door step. We felt like home and it has all necessary to have a fantastic stay. And Mary is very helpful with anything you may need.
Cons: The place (and guests) would benefit of a side lamp or floor lamp in the living room. The only light in that space is the one on the ceiling and it is strong and cold white. We had to use the kitchen light instead.

The best place to stay in Madeira!
Pros: The Apartment was bigger than expected and is bigger than it appears on the photos. Everything is very clean and in superb condition. Mary was a lovely host that was always reachable when there was something we needed. We recommend this place 100% and want to come back one day! Parking is perfect. The car is protected inside the building. Elevator, Air Condition, Stove, Washing machine. Everything you need is there. We loved it there!

Well equiped Cozy with very helpful host
Pros: It was a very big pleasure to spend 7 nights at the Cozy appartment of Mary. A beautiful welcome gift waited for us (+ice in the fridge), and a nice goodbye gift surprised us. The place is very well equiped, easy to cook (every day if needed). A shoping center (Forum) is next to the appartment. Mary was very helpful, 0-24 help any time, if needed. She listed us restaurants as well. I recommend this place to anybody who visits Madeira. Transfer from the airport and to the airport was an option as well.
Cons: the mattress of the bed is springy, if you move a lot in your sleep, the other side also undulates
