Group trip to Madeira

Pros: The location right on the prom is wonderful, sitting out on the terrace listening to the waves. Plenty of utensils, glasses, cutlery and crockery. The host is very communicative and on hand to support everything you may need.

Cons: Nothing to dislike really - only thing I'd say is it smaller than it looks in the photos and a bit darker, but that didn't hamper our stay at all.

Pros: It was very nicely decorated, had everything we needed and it was superb for a family. Enough space, and the patio was simply amazing. I also liked that the beach was just a few meters away.

Cons: It's not close to the centre :).

Great place to stay close to Funchal centre.

Pros: Location was great with a good view of the beach (and easy access), enough space for 6 people. Host was responsive and helpful. Kitchen was extensive enough to cook a decent meal and make coffee. Enough parking space to put your car. The outside area had nice seating options for everyone, and was nice to have in the evening.

Cons: The sleeping situation could be better; 1 small pillow per person, and the beds were okay. Also, we were unlucky that there was construction happening next door. Furthermore, one shower was way better than the other (water pressure / space), causing us just to use the one shower.

We had a great and very relaxing time.

Pros: You can directly access the beach walk from the property. The host, Pedro, is incredibly helpful, and can easily be contacted by Whatsapp. He answered all questions we had very quickly.

Pros: Right on the beach with fabulous terrace. Spacious and comfortable, the beds were so comfy and relaxing.

Pros: Pedro was such a great host, very communicative, his apartment is amazing! Especially the terrace and the sunset view of the cliff. Super comfortable place, with everything you need, supermarket close by, pool, beach, natural pools! Even the airport bus stops directly outside.

Pros: Large , beautiful apartment with three bedrooms, one of them overlooking the ocean, two bathrooms - one with shower, one with bathtube. Great patio where you can sleep and eat and talk while looking at the ocean and mountains was a plus. Located just next to the promenade alongside wide stony beach, with pool present on the apartments complex grounds . Contact with the owner was easy, he welcomed us in, showed all the practical details about the apartment and also gave us pointers to nearby activities. Checking in and out was unproblematic. Parking lot just outside the building. I would recommend it anytime.

Pros: De grote van het appartement, groot balkon en ruime slaapkamers. Vriendelijke gastheer. Goede locatie aan de zee en wanneer je van iets meer rust houdt. Wanneer we weer naar Madeira gaan zouden we hier zo weer voor kiezen maar....lees hieronder

Cons: Dat niet alles even schoon was. Badkamer de vlonders die moeten worden vervangen, douchekop in de badkamer ook, keukengerei was echt vies en oud. Het heeft een opknapbeurt nodig. Tegel los in de keuken en zo waren er wel meer kleine dingen.

This is an amazing place on an amazing island

Pros: Beautiful view, pool and beach access. There is a black sand beach within walking distance, rare in Madeira. Host was communicative and helpful and we had a wonderful time.

Cons: These weren’t major problems just things to be aware of: parking is free but the lot was often full so it could be tricky. No AC or screens but temperature was lovely and bugs weren’t a major problem.
