Fantastic view in spacious apartment.

Pros: The apartment is located in a very nice and quiet area. Spacious and airy apartment. Fantastic great view. Very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The host responded right away if we had any questions. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Perfect for a beautiful, relaxing time!

Pros: The views! The sounds of the waves. Proximity to all main locations. It’s literally on the beach—so best views in all directions. The facilities have a vintage 90s feel, but adds to its charm! And the apartment seems newly equipped with updated furniture (smart tv, comfortable couches), but the appliances are a little dated. Very well situated for different necessities: bird scooters right outside, Ubers/deliveries simple enough, long walks along the boardwalk are easily accesible, walkable access to Funchal & Câmara de lobos (about an hr to access either), within the Funchal zone for most tours. The pool seems like it would be amazing in the summer. Would definitely try to come back! And this should probably be gatekept but it’s close to one of the only black sand beaches in the area 🤫

Cons: The bar in front has a direct view into the apartment, which isn’t the most comfortable feeling as a solo traveler. There was also a small ant problem (thankfully had eucalyptus oil). Wish the pool was a little heated, basically the same winter temp of the ocean, which I’m sure feels great in summer!

Looking forward to coming back to Madeira and MaraHomes :-)

Pros: We are finishing our stay at Mara Homes, and have to say - it would be impossible to find something better (while we travel really a lot). The location is amazing - the full view to the sea - which is just a few meters in front of the balcony. Ideal to people like we - who like to get relaxed looking and listening to the sea. The appartment well prepared and equppied in all what is needed. The host helpful and answering quick to all questions. Surroundings quiet and safe. Nice beach bar with good drinks - just a few meters walk, restaurant with perfect seafood - also a few meters walk. More restaurants and bars - 100 meters walk. Impossible to find any faults.

Pros: The apartment had everything we needed and an incredible view. It’s a perfect, quiet place. There is a pool with sun loungers on the property. All our requests were handled quickly, and we truly appreciate that. Definitely a great place to stay in Madeira.

Definitely stay here again in the future!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at MaraHomes! Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the sea — truly unforgettable. The location is also incredibly peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Ideal location and appartment

Pros: The view on the balcony is amazing. Praia Formosa is not crowded, and at night it is quiet. We only heard the sound of the waves :)

Pros: Die Lage ist fantastisch, man hört das Meer rauschen. Die Resktivität des Gastgebers war toll, er hat unverzüglich ein Ersatzgerät bereitgestellt. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Schade, dass wir nur 10 Tage Zeit hatten.

Cons: Nichts

Pros: Der Gastgeber war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden mit hervorragenden und zahlreichen Tipps für lokale Aktivitäten und Restaurants versorgt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist unschlagbar: Sie liegt direkt gegenüber vom wunderschönen Strand.

Cons: Der Check-in verzögerte sich leider um etwa 90 Minuten nach der offiziellen Zeit. Zudem gestaltete sich die Parkplatzsuche an einigen Tagen in der unmittelbaren Nähe etwas schwierig.

Terraza frente al mar, playa, sonidos olas, tranquilidad y cercanía a Funchal.

Pros: Espectaculares vistas con una terraza maravillosa. El sonido de las olas, la tranquilidad del entorno, con la playa frente al apartamento, hacen de este sitio un lugar mágico en el que disfrutar de la ciudad de Funchal pero sin la aglomeración del centro. Apartamento amplio, limpio y equipado. Aparcamiento en el edificio. Piscina para refrescarse, como alternativa a la rocosa y bella playa natural de la isla.
