We had an excellent stay and would book the apartment again.

Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was clean, very comfortable, well equipped and the location in the centre of the city is handy for everything. We appreciated the free parking as we hired a car for the duration of our stay. Carla met us to hand over the keys and was always available to answer questions via WhatsApp.

Cons: The flip side to this being a convenient location in the centre of the city, is the noise during the working day. It was quiet from 11pm to 7am so we slept well during our stay. On some nights there was noise in the street outside the bar up the street, but it was always quiet after 11pm.

Nice flat but extremely noisy Friday and Saturday nights

Pros: Nice sized property and everything was clean and well looked after.

Cons: Unfortunately on Friday and Saturday nights there was so much noise from the bar down the street. People non-stop chanting and screaming until midnight.

Amazing apartment in a perfect location

Pros: Fantastic apartment right in the centre of Funchal. Great location. All the amenities you could need including fantastic air conditioning and 2 balconies. Spotlessly clean.Would definitely stay again

An ideal, well equipped and well located apartment

Pros: The property was clean, well equipped and bigger than I expected. Carla, who met us and let us in, was friendly and accommodating. The central location of the apartment was absolutely perfect as a base for exploring.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like

Spacious apartment in the center of Funchal. Excellent location!

Pros: Wonderful apartment in the center of Funchal. Lovely living room, very nicely decorated. Kitchen provides everything you need. Good bed in the main bedroom (we did not use the other bedroom since we were with two persons). Very nice assistance for check-in and the office available for questions during your stay via Whatsapp. We did make use of the parking facility which is really convenient (right under the next building). We faced some problems getting in (not the fault of the owner of the apartment, mechanical failure), but that was solved very quickly, contact was excellent. Location can not be beaten, everything you need (supermarket, restaurants/bars, harbour, shops) within 10 minutes walk.

Cons: You hear some noise from the streets when you are inside. Fortunately, this is only during the day. During the night the area is very quiet.

Fantastic apartment in Madeira

Pros: We loved the apartment. It is central to everything, modern, very clean also the company supplied a number of cleaning products which helped as we were there for two weeks. There are two supermarkets close by one just across the road from the apartment.also the apartment is very close to bars and restaurants so there is no need to hire a car. The apartment was easy to access. We were met by a member of staff who was really friendly and helpful. Madeira is a lovely city to visit there is lots to do and many interesting places and streets to investigate. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Cons: Nothing we did not like.

Pros: Host was waiting for us and took us to the parking space (that we paid extra for). Great central location.

The booking organization was friendly, and we felt really comfortable in the apartment.

Pros: The apartment is in the middle of the city and very close to the seafront promenade, you can easily reach some sights and shops on foot.

Cons: Toilet bowl could be a bit wider.

Pros: Very central but quiet, spacious, comfortable and pretty much everything needed there.

Cons: No complaints.

Overall a nice and beautiful apartment, highly recommended.

Pros: Good communication with the office that manages the apartment. Upon arrival at the apartment, an employee from the office was there to give the key and a tour of the apartment, which is beautifully decorated (better than expected). All the basics and more, are provided, including some fruit. We were initially concerned about possible noise pollution due to the central location of the apartment. We took ear plugs with us just to be sure, but we only used them 1 out of 10 nights and that was the first night. It wasn't too bad, but it's just what you're used to.

Cons: A second key would be perfect as we also wanted to explore the area separately. Having to fill out a so-called SEF form came as a surprise to me, we come from a Schengen country. Until now I don't know why I had to fill it out. Maybe because it is an apartment rented out by a private individual who has transferred it to an office? Some more information with the invitation to complete this form would be nice.
