Pros: I had an absolutely wonderful stay here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, José made me feel so welcome and he is such a nice person. Friendly, kind, and thoughtful, but never intrusive. It really made a difference, especially as I was travelling solo. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped; everything I needed was there. It felt safe, calm, and like a real home rather than just a place to sleep. It was such a lovely place to relax after days out exploring Madeira. The location was ideal. It quiet, yet easy to get to Funchal centre and around the island. Everything about the stay just worked smoothly.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like, everything about the stay was excellent.

Pros: Jose is a great host, he is personable, friendly and extremely hospitable. The accommodation is great, the location is just far enough from the city centre where you don’t feel too much in the mix but only a 10 minute walk from the city centre and very accessible by public transport.

Pros: We loved our stay! The apartment is roomy and ideally located in the heart of the city. Jose was an excellent host—quick to respond and always happy to help with any questions. We truly appreciated the warm and attentive service. Thank you!

Pros: We had a great stay in this apartment! It is larger than expected, calm, and comfortable. The location is excellent too. Contrary to some other guests, we didn't find the mattress too hard and we slept very well. We also appreciated the blackout curtains. A dining table has been added which is really helpful.

Very enjoyable stay

Pros: Super clean, host very helpful. Easy to park a little bit up the street Rua das dificuldades. Close to city center.

Great location, helpful host, best value for money

Pros: The apartment was as expected and as presented on Booking, clean, spacious enough and with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. It is located close to a paid parking lot, across the street, but there are also a few parking spaces right in front of the building and more spaces @200 meters away on the main street (@20c/13min, free between 20:00-08:00). The apartment is also close to many restaurants, @2-5min walking distance and 900 meters away from the cable car. Hugo was very helpful and provided all the information I needed to have a wonderful vacation, thank you!

Cons: Air conditioning was not available, it got a bit hot during the day and night. Leaving the windows open helped a bit. Because the apartment is close to a main road I could hear cars and especially motorcycles go by during the night, but there was no heavy traffic, just something to keep in mind..
