The Princess Apartment By Sam Houses

Pros: Great apartment, very big and comfortable! Everything is new, the house is equipped for a long stay. The terrace is such nice addition. Nice view fom there! We enjoyed every morning the sunrise while having breakfast in the terrace.

Pros: Excellent accomodation! Everything is new and clean. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, we had quite a few questions and requests and they accommodated all of them without a problem. Internet is fast and stable, suitable for remote work. Garage space was really convenient. Location is very good (especially if you have a car), it was quiet and peaceful but close enough to the center. Beautiful view from the terrace! We will definitely come back next time we are in Madeira.

Cons: There were some ants in the kitchen but the host gave us a spray and after a couple sprays they did not come back. I guess they are hard to avoid in Madeira.

A fantastic apartment

Pros: We have just returned from a fabulous stay at this beautiful apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean, modern and well equipped. The welcome gifts were very thoughtful, as was the info book with lots of recommendations. We were greeted on arrival and could contact the host anytime we needed to, with a prompt reply. It's about a 20min walk down into Funchal, the parking was also very appreciated. The swimming pool was a hit with our children too. We'd definitely come back

Cons: Could have done with a few more utensils, glasses and bowls in the kitchen. The worktop area is also very small, but fine for preparing breakfast and lunch as we did (we ate out most nights) Also to note the apartment is on the ground floor so doesn't have a view. This didn't bother us, but just useful to know from the pics.

Superb apartment definitely will return

Pros: Spacious modern and clean. It had everything we needed. Car parking underneath and we felt very secure and safe.

Cons: It’s a little way up the hill but Ubers were €4

Very nice just outside Funchal

Pros: Very nice appartment with 2 bed- and 2 bathrooms. Carpark under appartment also very good. Nice pool. Only few minutes with Uber or taxi to city center. Very good bakery nearby

Madeira experience

Pros: The apartment was spacious, we had a lovely time in the terrace with beautiful sunrises. The kitchen is fully equipped. The supermarket is at a walking distance and kids park. You can walk to the city center and the Uber is really affordable. The host was very welcoming and offered us a nice Madeira cake.

Wonderful apartment in a quiet location

Pros: Beautiful and very clean apartment with an amazing terrace. We were very satisfied here. We love to walk so we didn't mind walking a few miles into town for dinner, on the contrary it was a pleasant walk for us. Otherwise we went on trips by car. The neighborhood was very pleasant and we enjoyed going to the local restaurants and being the only tourists there. We loved getting to know the locals. The apartment is well equipped, there is everything you could want. There really was nothing to fault here.

Lovely comfortable flat, conveniently located and good value for money.

Pros: The flat is modern, spacious and has a lot of great amenities. The complex also has a swimming pool which is great. It is located conveniently.

Cons: I did feel it was quite strange that the check-in window is only 3 hours (3pm-6pm), which means travelers arriving in the evening have to pay a small fee to collect keys.

Best place to stay

Pros: Fantastic place to stay, an unbelievable, beautiful view, an unforgettable place.We would really come back. Apartment just incredible. Would recommend to everyone who is looking where to stay in Funchal. It is a very quiet area and safe.
