Pleasant stay in central Funchal

Pros: The location is fantastic – just a short walk to the old town and surrounded by great restaurants. The apartment itself is spacious, styled, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. I also really appreciated the seamless check-in and flexibility during checkout process – it made our experience pleasant and stress-free.

Cons: Smell from nearby restaurants was a bit disturbing, but it did not spoil our stay.

Pros: very good location, all close. The owner friendly and helpful. Apart big and comfortable. Excellent equipped kitchen, all you wish to have there. Beautiful view from the apart. clean

Cons: The hot water was limited, problematic. Too many old fashion furniture, not needed 3 tables in the salon. Keys and locks sometimes blocking

Brilliant a most comprehensively equipped propert.

Pros: Johnny was there to meet us on arrival, I messaged from the airport to let him know we had arrived. It is was nicer than in the pictures on Booking.com if that is possible, we loved it and would be very happy to stay at this property again in the future. We arranged our taxis to and from the airport with booking.com both reasonably priced at circa £17 each way.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

A lovely place to stay in Funchal ,Madeira.

Pros: Excellent facilities, great location, charming interior furnishings. Great views from the balcony.

Cons: The twin bed mattresses were a bit firmer than we would have liked.

Pros: Great location, views were great and rooms etc were perfect for stay and very helpful host

Cons: On 3 nights there was street noise from a nightclub ending at 11pm on the Thursday, and 2am on the Friday and Saturday night. Ear plugs worked for me but partner who is usually not a problem with sleeping could not

Pros: Die absolut günstige Lage. Mittendrin und doch ruhig. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig ausgestattet. Wir kommen wieder.

Cons: Das Müllproblem in den Orten muss dringend gelöst werden. Abseits der Haupttouristenstrassen wird viel in die Regenrinnen geworfen oder über die Zäune. Das gilt für die ganze Insel.
