Elena's Apartment - Nice sea views

Very comfortable and beautiful apartment

Pros: Very Good Location and near shopping center and restaurants.very nice varanda

Cons: I like everything in the property but only 1 ting ned more information to the costumers were you put the trash out and glass bottles is well I don’t find place to trash away .

Pros: The entire place was quite spacious and decent, good value. Good location — a couple of restaurants and malls/supermarkets within walking distance. The sun hits the balcony in the morning, which was quite nice.

Cons: The Wi-Fi was really weak — I had to use mobile data 99% of the time. There weren’t enough coffee supplies or toilet rolls if you were staying for more than one night.

Pros: The location is spectacular. The only thing that would make the location better would be facing the ocean directly. The apartment was very large, and the couch was soft to sit on. We will book a different apartment when we come again next year.

Cons: The 2nd bed was hard as a rock.I actually started sleeping on the couch instead of the bed. Smoke detector batteries need replacing. Both wall clock batteries need replacing. TV remote control needed batteries. The ensuite bathroom smell was overpowering (Whew!) No cleaning supplies were provided for those staying more than a couple of days other than a vacuum cleaner. No condiments, just 2 tea bags, 2 instant coffee pouches & powdered creamer, 2 single seving pouches of oil & vinegar. Most apartments on booking have the staples that precious renters have purchased still remaining in the apartment. Like the stuff we left behind. This one is stripped bare every time, apparently. €20 fee charged for a 2nd key, which is not standard for Booking.com apartments. Very poor response time from the greeter. Both times we met her, she was over an hour late each time. She indicated she would be late, but it was always much later than she said. So we sat outside on the concrete ledge waiting. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. The main tub was not cleaned (previous tenants used soap bar was in the holder). Ants in the kitchen, and once we found a stream of ants crawling out from under the main bathroom's toilet seat (gross!)

Pros: Location and amenities are big plus for this listing. Quick response from the host.

Mooi verblijf dicht bij zee met prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Pros: Het is een zeer ruim appartement, beschikbaar voor 6 personen, bestaande uit 2 slaapkamers met 2 badkamers met in de huiskamer een slaapbank. Keuken is zeer compleet ingericht en tevens voorzien van een wasmachine. Via app contact kwam er een mannetje die de sleutels kwam overhandigen en tevens een rondleiding door het appartement gaf. Het appartement ligt in een buitenwijk van Funchal en ligt vlak aan zee met rondom restaurantjes waar je geweldig kunt eten. Verschillende supermarkten in de buurt op loopafstand. Als je naar beneden loopt richting het restaurant aan zee, loop je via een tunnel naar het strand. Die tunnel is echt geweldig!

Cons: Je kunt bijna nergens je auto kwijt. Daar kan de verhuurder van het appartement weinig aan doen, want bijna overal op het eiland in een stad of dorp is dat een probleem.

FIjn en goed gelegen appartement bij het strand

Pros: Mooi gelegen appartement, dicht bij het strand en enkele goede restaurantjes. Ook vlakbij een supermarkt.
