Pros: Santana houses are one famous landmark of madeira. So the location was top. Comfortable beds. Welcoming staff, warm blankets, instant warm shower was nice

Cons: Could earn extra points if more or better pillows. Very cold for January with 15 degrees outside. Basic breakfast

Pros: Perfect location in Santana. You can park for free on the street close to the building. The room was very clean and nice, although it was quite humid in autumn. It’s great that they offer breakfast. Good contact with the owner.

Cons: The room is very small, and it was very humid. Breakfast could be a bit bigger, with more variety options.

Friendly, central stay with great hospitality

Pros: A charming, family-run B&B with an excellent central location in Santana, just a short walk from the traditional houses. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Host was friendly, attentive. They have an outdoor place to wash and dry your hiking equipments like shoes/poles. Parking is on the road.

Cons: Breakfast can feel basic over multiple days as it doesn’t include any warm food like eggs.

Homey family-run place convenient and well-run

Pros: Santana is very well located to visit places in the eastern part of Madeira. Casa do Til is right in the center of this small town with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Our room had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Very nice shower, with hot water. The breakfast was superb with home-baked cake and local fruit I had never tasted. It is a really homey place with kind people. Lots of other visitors even in the off-season. It’s a popular place. I would stay again.

Cons: We were a little unsure about after hours check-in.

Pros: The property is at the very central of Santana. Convenient and close to cafe’s and park.

Cons: Has an electric kettle and cup and saucer in my room but coffee and tea is nowhere to be found.
