Repeat visit. A wonderful contrast to the commercialised south coast.
Pros: This was a repeat visit .Our host was superb, even prior to arrival: we had a domestic problem that had the potential to cancel our holiday at short notice. Teresa was very understanding. She is a quiet efficient host ready to assist you in having a good holiday The location is very peaceful and rather remote, a car is highly recommended. Superbly clean and with a simple breakfast included , touring the North Coast is easy but the old road system is slow with many bends. An evening meal may be preordered, we had superb fish on 2 nights. Another guest compared it to a high end restaurant. We recommend that you eat there and there is little else for some distance.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike but simply be aware: apart from the lavada there is little to do in the area, if you crave amusement this may not be for you. Also the rooms vary in size and outlook but with such high occupancy levels your choice may be limited. We booked 10 months ahead. Yes it was that good!

Pros: The room was spacious and in a great condition and it was nice that the breakfast was included. Everybody was very nice.
Cons: The location is not the best, some narrow mountain roads lead to the place and nothing is in walking distance, also no sidewalks for kilometers. It would be great to have at least a few plates in the room in case you want to eat your own food.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The owner and the stuff were super nice. The house, the view was magical. We really loved the location. Breakfast was delicious and we could ask for dinner which was amazing as well.

Pros: Amazing relaxing location with beautiful sea views. It is a cut above other accommodation in the area and beautifully finished inside.

Comfortable guesthouse with warm welcome from the staffs!
Pros: The guesthouse is located in a somewhat remote area, but we found it comfortable and warm during our stay. We stayed from 18–20 December 2025, and the weather was mostly rainy and cold. It is a good location if you want to walk PR 18, which is nearby. We really liked the very spacious bathroom, and we also enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: One thing we did not like was the blanket/duvet cover. We noticed that there was only a small sheet covering the blanket, and it did not fully cover both sides. While sleeping, it is likely that guests may touch the heavy blanket directly, and we are not sure whether it is washed after every guest checks out. For hygiene reasons, we believe it would be better to have a proper duvet or blanket cover that fully covers the blanket on both sides.

Very well run establishment
Pros: The room was beautifully clean and had a lovely view. Dinner was absolutely delicious - I had the scabbardfish with banana and it was perfect. Similarly, breakfast was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable & I appreciated the heater as it was a cold evening. There isn't much at all in the area, but I found it a perfect stopover while exploring the island.
Cons: The room and bed-linen smelled VERY strongly of cleaning products, to the point where it made my eyes water. Unfortunately it was a cold rainy day so I couldn't leave the balcony door open to air it out and I woke up with quite a headache.

Very quiet place, nicely furnished, beautiful breakfast room.
Pros: The breakfast was nice, the staff very friendly, wi-fi worked well, the furnishment of the room was good, heating worked well (we visited the area in December).
Cons: We were unable to connect the TV to the local wi-fi network - that basically mattered mainly because we experienced one rainy day.
