Secluded piece of heaven in Boaventura

Pros: We loved this place!! Fabulous secluded location, great hosts that were kind and understanding. Beautiful comfortable room. Excellent kitchen and breakfasts were delicious and plenty of options. Loved being part of the family. Two very cute small dogs and a cat. Gardens are stunning and you are surrounded by mountains. There is parking. Warm, plenty of heating for when it is colder. Lots of outside seating options. The accommodation is down a long steep hill but it is fine to drive if you are confident. You very rarely meet a car on the hill. Good location for exploring all parts of the island.

Cons: We have no complaints :)

Pros: We had a really great time at Paul & Nelson's place. Amazing breakfast with mountain views, great travel recommendations and everything felt really thought through. They were always available for questions/help but also respectful if we just wanted to be by ourselves. A great place to relax, recharge and to start day trips from. The pets were really friendly and calm. We were greeted almost every morning by the cat when we opened the door and the dogs waited for us in the BBQ area to say good morning. Very appreciated by us :)

Cons: The bed was a bit too hard for us. We also kept rolling into each other during the night as the mattress was sagging in the middle. It got better after we flipped the mattress.

The best B&B on the island

Pros: We liked everything. Our hosts Paul and Nelson were very friendly and helpful. They have a valuable knowledge of the area and will recommend places to eat, visit and when to go. The accommodation was spotless and the beds were especially comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, along with the view from the garden it was pretty much unbeatable. The location of the B&B is lovely being central nothing is too far away. We have to mention the real stars though, Luna, Zorro and a big fluffy cat will greet you every morning with a smile. We will definitely be back. Thank you both for a great holiday.

Amazing!

Pros: Every little thing is very cared for and looked after. The room is sparkling clean, the views are amazing and the host with their pets are very welcoming. We had great time, slept well and had good breakfast.

Cons: We would have loved some vegetables at the breakfast with the omelette too 🍆🥗🌱🍅

Pros: It's difficult to start because everything here is so lovely! I'll keep this brief. Paul and Nelson are the perfect hosts: kind, helpful, and they cook incredible breakfasts. Their hospitality alone makes it worth visiting. The place itself is clean, comfortable (especially the beds!), and well-located, regardless of your preferences. Want to relax on-site? The surroundings are so calm and beautiful, there's no need to venture further. Interested in exploring Madeira's top spots? The location is convenient for driving anywhere you desire. And a fantastic, less-touristy hike, Caminho de Entrosa, is literally around the corner. The pets deserve a special mention, too. While the dogs are lovely, the cat stole our hearts. No need to seek company - the cat will happily join you and chat (in its own way). I hope to return to Madeira soon, and whenever I do, Paul and Nelson's place will be the first place I check for availability.

Amazing stay in beautiful Boaventura

Pros: It was the most amazing B&B we’ve ever been to. It’s rhe perfect location for hiking, the apartment was clean and cosy. You can buy your own food and store it in the fridge. Paul and Nelson were so lovely and helpful, we appreciated their help so much! Their 3 pets are super cute, it’s an amazing team! :)

Cons: Absolutely nothing, it was perfect.

Pros: Great hosts. Place is just amazing, a unique view. We loved the breakfast. Rooms are very clean and the mattress is more than comfortable. We'd love to go back again.
