Pros: Super Central in the middle of the City and not far from the ocean. Clean rooms. Free use of the kitchen and washmaschines. Nice rooftop to chill.

perfect location

Pros: location was perfect right in the center. Amazingly quiet considering the market Dos Lavradores was in the same street. basic accomodation but perfect for purpose of being outside discovering the island. bed very comfortable. room cleaned everyday.

Pros: The owner is Very friendly and helpful. Very clean , comfortable beds, just a few minutes walk to the old town and the marine , shops etc ., the tv has many canals, has a big nice Balkone on the top

Highly recommend, perfect location!

Pros: Perfect location! It's close to everything. Nearby, you have lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was super nice and helpful. They gave us lots of useful recommendations and advice. We highly recommend!

Cons: For me sometimes it was a bit cold in the room but I'm a chilly person :) and we came there in winter

Pros: Everything was amazing! It was one of the cheapest options available, but the quality was much better than expected for the price. They changed the towels, made my bed, and cleaned the room every single day. I spent most of my time out and usually came back to the hotel only to sleep, but even if you plan to stay inside more, it’s a great option. They have a balcony where you can dry your clothes and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment to cook something good. They even let me in after check-out so I could take a shower after hiking, for free. My honest recommendation. Thank you guys!

Cons: Since the hotel is located in the city center, it can be a bit loud outside from time to time, but nothing critical.

Pros: The room was simple but clean and cozy and had everything I needed. Also, the personnel was available and provided me with all information useful for my stay. Last but not least the location is awesome - close to shops, market, restaurants and to bus stops.

Pros: The accomodation ia located in the center of Funchal making it easy to see the town, get food (both groceries as restaurants) and get around the island (bus stops are only few minutes away + countless of car rentals). The staff was friendly and flexible. Shared kitchen and a balcony are added values. Overall, good for a budget stay.

Cons: With an open window it can get a little noisy from the market hall and traffic.

Pros: The place was in a good location and the owner was really nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: The room smelled odd, as if someone was smoking before us. It looks much more worn out than in the pictures, and it lacks some basic conveniences, like a water boiler for tea.
