Exceeded expectations

Pros: Perfect location for everything including transport. Farmer's Market and historic centre 5 minutes walk, shopping centre and supermarket next door. 10 mins walk down to the waterfront and teleferique. We had two adjoining self-contained apartments on the third floor. There is no lift but it's an easy climb, it feels more like two floors. The apartments are nicely decorated and spacious with lots of natural light. Spotlessly clean. Incredibly well equipped with appliances, crockery, cutlery etc. Fresh coffee and filters and basics (salt, olive oil, vinegar, dishwasher capsules, detergent ...) were provided. We didn't need to buy anything. Generous bathrooms, great showers and hairdryers. The rooftop terrace is an added bonus.

Cons: We went at the beginning of March and we had rain. The apartments felt a bit damp. We didn't want to use the main air conditioning but the portable heater only blew out cold air so had to use the air con. There's a funky smell which is possibly damp.

Pros: Great apartment. Exceptionaly clean, with all equipment you should imagine. Location in the center is also bonus. Rate 10/10.

Pros: It has great location - product store next door, close to cable car, sea side and convenient for tours. Everything you may need to prepare food is available, fridge, fan, also great terrace to cook and have dinner, laundry room. Very convenient to live long term.

Cons: We were 2 girls in one room, we had just one huge blanket. To get another noe -10 or 15 euro. That's very odd. Offer to smaller blankets since it's 2 ppl staying. Bus stop is right at the entrance. Entrance always occupied by ppl (sit on stairs of the entrance). Be prepared that there are huge cockroaches (3sm) in the building. Each day we saw new dead ones on the stairs. We lived on the 3rd floor and didnt see any in our room but i guess ppl living on the 1st floor had then in their rooms. Also some nasty snell in all drawers (maybe its some chemicals from cockroaches). Cleaning only on mondays. Be prepared to maintain cleanliness in between on your own. The most inconvenient part was the checkout -after 12 you may not stay even on the terrace So if you have a plane later jn the evening think ahead what to do wjth luggage. There's no place to keep it in the building of the apartment.

Pros: Our apartment was on the ground floor and consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 showers (the apartment can be divided into 2 separate apartments). Great location close to the shopping street, bazaar and shopping centre. The washing machine and dryer are located on the roof.

Cons: The entrance from the street is always crowded as it is a public transport stop. Parking next to the apartments in shopping centres is only for an extra charge, about 0.30euro/ 15 minutes. Next to Beco Da Nora street there are free parking spaces or 2.50 all day parking next to the football field.

Very nice, clean, well presented apartment

Pros: First floor accommodation next to main road but we didn't hear any road noise. Property was clean and tidy and staff were able to accommodate our request for us to drop our bags early (due to an early flight) and return after property was ready. Good number of utensils / plates / cutlery etc. Property was two separate 1 bed apartments with an interlocking door which was opened as we had both rooms. One apartment had a nespresso machine which was nice. Very nice roof top terrace

Cons: Can't think of anything that was important that we didn't like.

Brilliantly furnished modern apartment in top location

Pros: Amazing property in top location, literally 1 minute from Mercado dos Lavradores and steps away from the main pedestrian shopping zone. A bus to Monte park stops in front of the main entrance to the building. Very clean, spotless with all the facilities you might think of - dishwasher, iron and board, a few different coffee machines, juice maker, hairdryer, you name it… the whole apartment building looks new and pays a tribute to a former textile factory or something that was once there. Plenty of stylish details on this topic everywhere. The apartment itself is very modern and pleasant to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Look no more.

Pros: The apartment is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, the harbour and the cable car. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with dishes, cookware, even a drying rack for clothes. Highly recommend.

Pros: perfect location very clean has everything needed even for long stay (for cooking, washing clothes etc) stylish&cozy accommodation great guest area with view on mountains on the one side and ocean on the another 1min to big supermarket great car rental right in 5min walk and you can park the car on the mall parking right in 1min from the apartment (pretty cheap) the host answers quickly and is ready to help 100% recommend!

Cons: no elevator so if your room is on high floor it’ll be difficult with the luggage I’d suggest the host to add more pillows on the bed:))
