Pros: The location is an amazing starting point to explore the island by car, and the village is nice as well! The property was beautiful and very clean.

Cons: The kitchen is a bit too small when multiple guests want to cook breakfast/dinner. Having an espresso machine for coffee is great, but this model is a bit messy to clean after use.

Pros: Great location, the fresh fruit from the garden was fantastic

Pros: Really spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. The pool area was really lovely, surrounded by trees and as there are only 4-5 rooms it was never busy. Great location- right next to a bakery and up the road from a supermarket, and great restaurants. Could see the sea from our room and from part of the pool area. Great kitchen area, had everything we needed, and loads of space to sit outside and inside to eat. Also fab to have a garage to park in.

Pros: big bright apartment, with high ceiling, sitting in a garden. You can spend time in a patio or in a pool (it is clean and a water is warm). Inside the apartment it is very clean, has everything needed. Self check in, parking place available on request. Walking distance to the city center. Overall great experience!

Cons: a remote for the gates to exit by car did not work (opening with a code worked)

A perfect home away from home

Pros: Everything. From the decor, the cleanliness, to having everything you need, it’s like a home away from home. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Pros: Great location - a few minutes walk to the harbour and plenty of good restaurants. Lovely property -well maintained house with individual rooms for guests all with good decor and a bit of character. Excellent comfy beds and good quality bedding. Very good facilities in all areas. The pool was a real bonus. The staff, Lilliana was very helpful and friendly. Using the Hop on and hop off bus into Funchal was an easy and great way to get around. We bought a two day pass plus the tickets for the cable car for 34€ each on the Yellow Bus line. Local buses only cost about 3€ but couldn’t really work out the timetable and where we would get off in Funchal.

Cons: Even though it was low season the noise from traffic on the roads was quite bad. The quality of the loo paper didn’t quite match the high quality of everything else. Maybe it needs to be very thin for the drains! We did feel that some recommendations could have been given about local restaurants and bars and more detailed descriptions about how to find the parking space and how to work the blinds in the studio with the remote.
