Perfect stay 👍

Pros: In a great location with bars and restaurants close by but out of the centre so much quieter. The owner, family and staff all so lovely, breakfast was excellent and the bed super comfortable. Highly recommended 👍

Pros: I highly recommend stay in Melba! It is nice located, with all necessary equipment and comfortable bed 🛏️ Staff is helpful and very kind 🙂 We chose option with breakfasts which were fresh and tasty 🥪 I would choose Melba again!

Pros: Owner was very nice and helpful, room was cleaned every day with change of towels and bedding few times a week. There is a pool available but the hotel is also within 30 minutes walking distance from natural pools and city centre

Cons: The same food was served for breakfast every day, changing it sometimes might be a good thing for people with longer stay. The booking says the residence offers private parking, but the parking is not private and it includes just a few parking lots on the street which was sometimes challenging.

If I come back to Madeira, I will come back to Melba. Value for money, nice people, nice location.

Pros: I liked the location. You had to walk around 25 minutes to the city centre but you would do that walk anyway in order to explore Funchal. It was clean with nice people working there. The most important I felt welcomed and safe since day one. Recommend it to anyone.

Cons: I am trying to think something but there is not something I could say it was not likeable.

Pros: Lovely place with gentleman host. Always helpful and always smile person. Very clean and specious room. Everything was perfect.

Pros: The staff and people staying were so lovely, the hotel itself is beautiful and well kept. The pool was a good sunspot and the pool was lovely! Loved everything about it, food was great too. Will be back! Thank you :)

Pros: Everything was great, kind and helpful staff, delicious and fresh breakfast (fruit salad was especially good), comfortable bed, very clean not a speck of dust could be found in the room. Cleaned and towels changed everyday. Walkable distance to the town, plenty of restaurants around, small parking off the road.

Cons: Bathroom outdated but all working fine

Good location but price is relatively expensive to the ameneties provided.

Pros: The property is surrounded by great restaurants and souvenir shops. The place is clean and the amenities are ok but relatively expensive based on the condition of the room.

Cons: The stairs to the last floor is very small and tricky to go up if you have big luggage.
