Museum House

Pros: The location is perfect for exploring Funchal. You can easily walk to most places of interest and it is 5 minutes to the waterfront. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were responsive to messages. Overall I can't fault our stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: A nice apartment in the city center. We really appreciated the fact that it has a storage for our luggage in order to leave them before and after the check in and check out.

Cons: It was very clean but it has a problem with ants only if you leave food on the table. Otherwise the ants don’t appear.

I would surely book again.

Pros: The room was very nice and tidy. Very comfortable. I had room number six, which is way on top of the building. The view was incredible. No disturbing neighbours. The bedsheets smelled very clean also the frequently provided towels. I had 4 big windows , 2 to the sea side and 2 to the Mountain side so you could enjoy the little see breeze going through the room. Had everything you needed, coffee, tea, hairdresser. The owner provided helpful hints and tips upfront to make to stay comfortable.

Cons: The stairs to the room are pretty steep and I had a bit trouble to get my heavy suitcase up there to room number six. No elevator. But I guess that was my problem. Anyways, for people with handicap, it could be some trouble. On the other side, the shower cabin doors didnt close all the way. So you had to take care to not flood the bathroom.

Pros: Cute room, quiet and stylish, good location. Good value for money.

Cons: The shower is a bit outdated. Fridge is pretty noisy at night.

It was a very pleasant stay, i would give 10/10, but due to the noise I give 9. But overall I was happy with my room

Pros: Location was great and very comfortable check-in/check-out. The room was nice, clean and cozy. I felt like in a private house. Communication with Sergio was also very nice and fluent.

Cons: The noise from next room, the isolation is not good and therefore you will hear people talking, walking on the stairs etc. But overall I was happy with my room.

Pros: Excellent location and accommodation. Close to the city center, but still at the border in case you plan to have a car. Self check-in and check-out. Nice small terrace.

Cons: All was fine.

Calm and relaxing...

Pros: Very easy to walk around Funchal's main attractions. Great Locatio and curious decoration!

Cons: The fact the room was hot and the fact that I could not open the window because of the mosquitoes.

Pros: The room was small but perfect for a short stay. The bed, though compact, was quite comfortable. The location is excellent, just a 5–10 minute walk from the marina, and the self check-in process was very easy and convenient.

Cons: The room was quite warm without air conditioning (just a fan which didn't make the difference), and unfortunately opening the window nets was difficult as mosquitos would come in. During my 5-night stay, the sheets were not changed and towels were refreshed once. While I appreciated having fresh towels, more consistent housekeeping would have made the stay much more comfortable.

Pros: The room is quite big and has a lovely terrace facing a garden. There is a kettle, fridge, little table on the terrace and table inside the room with 2 chairs. Towels have been changed after 2-3 days of my stay.

Cons: The fridge is quite noisy, I took off the plug at night. The room has never been cleaned, you may want to take good care of your room if you need to stay several days.
