Marvelous, my absolute FAVORITE.

Pros: Staying in this house in Calheta was truly a relaxing and memorable experience. It’s the perfect place to completely unwind, surrounded by an extremely quiet and peaceful environment—ideal if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy the calm side of Madeira. One of the highlights was the exceptional host, who was always available, responsive, and genuinely willing to help with anything needed. The house itself is very well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a home away from home. There are a couple of small things to keep in mind. The hot water for the shower runs out quite quickly, so shorter showers are best if you want to enjoy it warm. The street leading to the house is quite narrow, which can be a bit tricky at first, but there is parking available, which is definitely a plus. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to relax and recharge. I would absolutely love to come back again.

The perfect base for exploring Madeira - with a stunning view

Pros: This is a beautiful property with a perfect view. It has a feel of a newly renovated house so everything is clean and working. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was an ideal base for our trips all over the island, especially the western and central part. Everyday a friendly cat came to say hello. Communication with Jorge was very easy.

Cons: As mentioned by others the access road is quite steep and narrow. However we faced no issues overall and there are meeting points for passing cars. It is easier to arrive from the above on road ER222. It is worth it for the view :)

Pros: A quiet, beautiful place. The apartment is clean, well-kept and fully equipped. The owner was very nice and helpful, we had an electric car and he even allowed us to charge it in front of the house at night. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Beautiful view from the window, what more could you want? :)

Bon point de chute pour l'ouest et le centre de Madère

Pros: Petite maison indépendante Vue panoramique sur Estreito da Calheta et l'océan 1 place de parking prévue à proximité (accès un peu étroit) Voisins prévenants

Cons: Maison fraîche et humide malgré un radiateur d'appoint

Pros: Freundlicher Empfang, obwohl wir über eine Stunde zu früh ankamen.Wir genossen derweil die großartige Aussicht. Die Anreise mit dem Mietwagen war für Flachländer eine Herausforderung, aber durch gute sowie vor Ort nette Einweisung des Nachbarn (einschließlich selbstgeernteter Bananen) zu bewältigen.

Cons: Bei den Temperaturen im März wäre ein zweiter Radiator gut gewesen.

Pros: Apartament bardzo ladny z pieknym widokiem.Świetnie wyposażony , niczego nie brakuje. Bardzo dobry kontakt z wlascielem przez caly pobyt. Wlascieciel zawsze sluzy pomoca. Dostalismy rowniez miske owocow od przemilych sasiadow. Bardzo polecamy to miejsce.

Pros: Très jolie vue sur mer... Attention accès par le haut beaucoup plus facile que par le bas d'Estreito de Calheta Le voisin très gentil qui nous a donné des fruits et même cuisiné un petit plat pour nous faire découvrir les ignames....

Cons: Logement un peu froid en février avec la pluie... Heureusement il y a un petit radiateur portatif... Lumière très vive du séjour : pas d'éclairage indirect

Pros: Buona posizione per girare l'isola e stupenda visuale dalla struttura. Host super gentile e disponibile. Ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni necessarie. Struttura pulita e accogliente, si trova in una stradina molto ripida e stretta ma è ripagata dalla tranquillità della zona. Consigliata

Cons: Niełatwy dojazd (wąska uliczka ostro pod górę), wieczorami było dość chłodno w pokoju

Heerlijk verblijf in Casa Jardim

Pros: Heerlijk huisje met prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan. Alles was prima, schoon en comfortabel. We kwamen heel laat aan maar eigenaren waren snel ter plaatse en hadden ook nog heel lief wat boodschapjes voor ons gedaan! Al met al, top!

Cons: Veel muggen maar daar kan de eigenaar niets aan doen.
