Pros: It’s amazing location . Looking out over the water, watching boats pass by. Its proximity to the coastal walkway … it was very clean and comfortable and I quickly got used to the ladder/stairs up to the bedroom . It had a cute little wooden opening in the door upstairs . We loved it ..it was a short climb up to the small town and facilities

Cons: We liked almost everything and even got used to the little local lizards that popped up every now n then . A little suggestion - the door knob is tricky and it could lock someone out soon .

Overall, a nice stay but some maintenance needed.

Pros: Lovely seaside location with beautiful views of the sunset. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were good quality.

Cons: Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to steep stairs. Patio furniture needs updating—only one sun lounger. A table and chairs on the patio to eat at would be better than the two chairs currently there, as when you sit in them you cannot see the view due to the fence. The door lock is faulty and should be replaced. Sent messages to the host but they were not replied too. Quaint small town with a couple of restaurants. The Italian has a beautiful terrace and the pasta was very good. Note: there was one unfriendly neighbour who grunted at me when I said hello, but all other neighbours were friendly.

Perfect holiday home

Pros: The location right at the ocean was astounding, the property was clean and had the necessary amenities which made our stay super comfortable. The house is really a perfect holiday home with the terrace where you could admire the surfers, sunsets, and the skyline at night. Communication over the check in and check out was excellent. Wifi was good as well.

Cons: The curtains looked a bit dirty and in need of cleaning

Pros: The house was perfect for us. The ideal location for watching the crazy surfers, amazing sunsets and listening to great Atlantic! Thank you so much.

Perfect location for amazing ocean and sunset views...

Pros: Great location, amazing sunset and ocean views and a very comfortable apartment in a very charming little village. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Cons: The bathroom could use a bit of a touchup and the doors could open a little easier.

A fab stay in a lovely apartment

Pros: Lovely comfortable apartment with fantastic views over the sea. Pretty village setting. We had a very peaceful few days stay gazing at the sea.. Everyting was good. Carrying luggage and shopping from the village car park down steps and the steps to the bedroom inside the apartment might be a drawback for some but did not bother us at all.

The perfect chillout maderia experience

Pros: Close to the promenade, Amazing sunset Seaviews , perfect beachfront location

Cons: Just needs a bit of regular maintenance

Pros: Great location by the sea. , Fantastic views, great for a couple.

Cons: Stairs slightly awkward.

Relaxed and stunning views

Pros: Everything! Location was great, bed extremely comfortable, breathtaking views. Amazing to fall asleep with the sound of the sea. Jardim do Mar & Paul do Mar are amazing. We will come back.

Cons: The fact that the neighbor’s window was directed to the house. Maybe provide a canopy (feels like this was installed there before) for more privacy at the terrace.

We would love to come again

Pros: We fell in love with the accommodation at CASA DO MAR already on our first visit. A small white house with two terraces seems to be suspended directly over the ocean. An evening glass of wine on the terrace with a view of the sun going to sleep in the waves. This is Casa do Mar.
