Pestana Porto Santo Premium All Inclusive Beach & SPA Resort

Pros: Pestana is Great place for a holiday and worth of money, the facilities and rooms are very clean, me and my son love the resort, the beach and the staffs are helpful and accomodating through our stay with them, they do like to make you feel special with extra gifts and surprises, special thanks to Marta for her exceptional costumer care service :) plus their lightning are great and relaxing.

Great place for a bit of relaxation after a few hikes.

Pros: The staff was very kind, we were really well received and treated from beginning to end. Our kids and us loved the pool. The availability of drinks at all times. The proximity to the beautiful beach is also amazing! We also enjoyed the spa. The food was also tasty and with quite some variety. The beds were very comfortable.

Cons: Not much, it was all good.

Outstanding Service Makes Every Occasion Special!

Pros: ​This was our second time choosing this hotel, and it continues to be our top choice—my parents already can't wait to return! ​I originally booked a few days as a surprise for my mother's birthday and texted the hotel to let them know. The entire staff were incredibly attentive, but one person truly went above and beyond: Marta. ​Marta made sure my mother felt completely celebrated, ensuring my parents had a genuinely memorable and happy stay. Her extra effort shows the high standard of care and attention to detail at this hotel. ​I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. We were so impressed that we are already planning my father's birthday weekend here. A huge thank you again to Marta for everything

Pros: We really enjoyed everything — especially how the staff are always so accommodating, helpful, and attentive in every way. Marta, the guest relations manager, is incredibly caring and responsive. Without her, our stay wouldn’t have been nearly as wonderful

Pros: Excellent location, delicious food and drinks, several on-site restaurants, cozy rooms, beautiful grounds, convenient layout, good access to the beach, and a lovely beach itself.

Cons: Sunbeds are available for an extra charge and are quite expensive (€17 for half a day, €27 for a full day), but the sand is excellent (clean and soft) so you can easily take a free umbrella and relax on the sand.

Met or exceeded most expectations. Will likely return.

Cons: Room was ok but a little basic. No hair conditioner or body lotion for example.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at the Pestana Hotel! Despite checking in late after a cancelled flight, the staff went out of their way to ensure we could still have dinner - such thoughtful service. The location couldn’t be better, right on the beach with stunning views. The cocktails were excellent too. Would absolutely stay here again!

Pros: Otto made our stay special, he was helpful in every way possible. Also Isabella and the kids team made a great effort. The drinks were prepared nicely at the bars.

Cons: The spa area could be improved with the followings: - the finnish sauna should be min. 80C and not 60C. And could use a cold water bucket in the shower area afterwards. - the indoor pool should be heated and warmer in order to be enjoyable The madress was quite hard, should be changed or used with overmadress. The pillows are not really good either. Even in 4 star hotels nowadays there is a selection of pillows one can choose from, recommended to improve. Food allergies should be taken more seriously, the labeling of the food is not satisfactory, done poorly, without each allergen listed up, according to EU standards. The chefs/staff lack understanding, not properly trained of the dangers and importance of it. It does not help if one fills out an allergen form at reception if it is not followed up, nobody knows about it for a day at the restaurant. When the guest relation manager took things into her hands, everything worked perfectly, but after that things went back to normal unfortunately.

Pros: Loved the place. Friendly staff, spacious room. The cleaning was done perfectly every day. I was happy with the healthy choices at the buffet every day. The pools were clean. And the atmosphere was very relaxed, enough chairs available to relax next to the pools
