King David Suites by Homie

Pros: Perfect location. Clean ane very easy contact with host.

Perfect accommodation for an unforgettable stay.

Pros: The property was immaculately clean, bed was comfortable, location is perfect, the views are stunning and the customer service was great.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

A real treat !

Pros: Amazing location in particular but everything was excellent

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: It was very central which was great for getting around Maderia and the airport by bus. The company were good at responding promptly to any queries we had.

Cons: The appartment was quite compact so ok if you are travelling fairly light.

Pros: Location. Comfortable bed. Utilities. Everything we needed was provided.

Cons: No change towels.

Highly recommend to explore the city

Pros: We spent 2 nights here to explore the city and the location was perfect. Easy walk to the seafront and restaurants etc. it was clean and had everything we needed. We only saw one staff member whilst we were there as it’s all online check in, however Daniela, was very responsive via messages and checked in to see if everything was ok and to ensure we knew who to contact if we needed anything.

Cons: Nothing at all. We were very happy all round.

Will stay again

Pros: Great location and lovely apartment. I got obsessed with watching the big cruise ships coming in and out of the harbour. The apartment is well positioned in the old town with many excellent restaurants to choose from. Easy to get to boat trips, bus stops and the hop on hop off bus which is great for sightseeing. The apartment itself is very well equipped and comfortable and access to laundry facilities was a bonus. Only contact with staff was via messages but this was very efficient and codes to access street and apartment door meant no worries about keys. There is a lift to all floors. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The apartment suited us perfectly however please note: 1. You overlook the main coast road which is busy : it can be noisy. 2. The higher the apartment the better the view due to the trees outside. 3. If you hire a car (we didn't) you may not be able to park close by.

Pros: Perfect location, great facilities, friendly hosts, will definitely use this accommodation again when we visit in the future

Cons: Would have been nice to have a net curtain or similar for privacy.

Superb place to stay to explore Funchal

Pros: Excellent location, easy walking distance to everything and connections beyond. We really enjoyed the stay and the area. A really friendly well run apartment set-up. The staff and response from them was excellent and the Christmas Day mini hamper was a lovely touch and gratefully received. Highly recommended for a stay in Funchal. Thank you to the Homie Team and Happy New Year!

Great for Funchal exploration.

Pros: The location was extremely convenient for exploring the centre of Funchal and proximity to bus station. The position being on the front with balcony view of the cruise harbour and marina.

Cons: The bed was lovely and large but far too hard for our liking, it was like sleeping on a board and effected our sleep. Apart from that everything was fine.
