Tranquil Beachside Stay - Atlantic Gardens Beach

I would come back :)

Pros: It is old-school apartment and building but has everything for comfy living. Located straight on the Formosa beach, you can walk straight from the pool area to the beach. We were in 415. The balcony is big and the view is amazing.

Cons: The contact number given never answered my message (and my question what I sent about check-out via mail also never got answered). The separate bed I requested in livingroom and bedroom were not provided (only 2 beds in beroom), so we took one bed to livingroom ourselves from bedroom. But it was no big problem and otherwise everything went still smoothly.

Apartment directly at the beach with an amazing ocean view

Pros: Location - directly at the beach, ocean view from the big balcony. Smooth self check-in and check-out - very late check-in possible. Clean and spacious apartment, comfortable beds, kitchen, washing machine. Fast communication with the host. Fast and stable wifi although at the balcony the signal was sometimes getting lost. Machines with snacks and hot drinks in the lobby of the building. Quiet location.

Cons: We did not have the key from the gate to the beach, it was possible to open it from inside and left it open, but if someone closed it, we had to come all around the building to get back to the apartment. Despite big parking place, It was not always possible to find a free parking lot next to the apartment.

Pros: Great location for exploring the island, sunset, sound of the sea. Spacious apartment.

Cons: Crack in the bathroom (but they apologized for not being able to fix it) Cleanliness of the pool.

Location with view

Pros: Good location for apartment, basic apartment, everything what need for stay.

Pros: We liked everything. Easy communication with the hosts. We were pleasantly surprised when we asked for a slightly later check-out and they agreed. We recommend it.

Cons: If you don't like the sound of the waves, I suggest you bring earplugs :)

Fantastic ocean view in big rooms with good equipment.

Pros: Great location with see view rooms. Fantastic ocean view and directly on the beach. Rooms are big enough and perfectly equipped.

Overall, very pleasing experience so we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Excellent place, spacious apartment, very clean with plenty of towels and a washing machine. The sofa and the chairs in the living room were very comfortable. We also appreciated that communal corridors, staircases etc were tidy and well maintained. I personally was very grateful for the proximity of the recycling point as it was located on the same floor.

Cons: Matresses were a bit hard to sleep on so it would be great to place toppers on.

Our favourite stay on Madeira!

Pros: This was our favourite stay on Madeira. Everything was great. The apartment was very spacious and clean, beds comfortable, the ocean view amazing, big terrace and wifi good. Washing machine and coffee machine - big bonus! The parking lot is in front of the building, and we always found a free space available. Staff was very helpful and provided all needed info before check in. Oh yes, the kids enjoyed the pool - clean water and the right temperature.

Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: Beautiful apartment looking over the beach. Great location. Nice and quiet

Cons: The outside could do with a bit of painting. The pool not so clean.
