Tanoeiros Residence by An Island Apart

Pros: Great location for visiting the capital, whether for a short or longer stay. A big plus is the spacious apartment with a separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Nothing to complain about.

Pros: It was just an amazing place to stay in Funchal. The location in the city centre is great, everything is close. The apatment is modern and fully equiped, we really enjoyed the balcony and everything. We appriciated earlier check in and also 2 beers ready for us. Just perfect. Thank you very much.

Pros: It was the PERFECT place to stay: very centrally located, nice, clean, and equipped with everything needed - incuding the beach towels, which is a very nice touch. Instructions were easy to follow and all information was recieved in time.

Pros: Fantastic modern and well equipped apartment, we felt at home right away. Location could not be better between the old town and city central. Lots of very good restaurants in very close distance and supermarkets nearby, if you want to cook yourself. Last but not least service team was great and extremely helpful!

A good place to stay for central Funchal, loved Madeira, next time I’d stay further out with some outdoor space.

Pros: Location was very central, although near a main road, excellent sound proofing made it quiet. It had a very well equipped kitchen with washing machine and drier. Bed very comfortable and large. Swimming towels were a nice touch, would have been helpful if they’d been listed.

Cons: It hadn’t been clear to me that the balcony in the pictures belonged to another flat and I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known that as there was nowhere nice to sit and read during the day. The sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on. My husband found the street light outside kept him awake. It didn’t bother me.

Pros: Apartments were very clean, every cutlery and dishes, every piece of furniture, cleaning service is very good. Kitchen, bathroom were fully equipped with all that you need to cook and clean yourself, also there was closet with stuff for room cleaning if you need it. Kitchen: microwave, oven, toaster, coffee machine, big space for cooking and preparing dishes, all types of knives etc., washing machine. Very good and fresh renovation, smart TV, great bedroom and perfect hotel quality mattress. After around 5 days of our arriving owner offered free cleaning service, I refused but he insisted on at least towel and bed sheets changing, when we came back cleaning service still cleaned every single piece of furniture and room :) also organised our stuff like shoes fruits and cleaned trash cans. It was surprising! Never seen such a service in an apartments!

Pros: The apartment had absolutely everything that we needed. Perfect condition, and comfortable.

Cons: We were on the third floor, so lots of steps. Maybe if we were a little younger!!
