Pros: Very friendly, chatty and helpful host. She explained and showed us everything thourougly at the beginning; even gave us tips for our holidays in Madeira. In case of any issue, she is ready to solve it quickly and proper. It was very interesting to chat with her about daily life and culture in Madeira. The balcony was also very lovely and we enjoyed to fade out the day with a beer and relaxing chat outside. We can really recommend this place, but hope at the same time that not too many people book it, so that there is still room for us to come back one day 😉

Cons: Actually, there was nothing that bothered us. We would only suggest as an additional plus point to stand out from others: It could have a basic set for seasoning (salt, pepper, herbs) in the kitchen. Because it is difficult for visitors to find small enough amounts in the stores to cook with and then not throw it away or having to take it home.

Pros: Great size and location! Incredibly quiet and safe with plenty of parking available and various markets and bars nearby!

Pros: Mein Bruder und ich waren Anfang Oktober 2025 dort. Das Vermieter-Pärchen ist wirklich super nett :) Die Lage ist auch spitze. Man kommt schnell zum Pico do Ruivo hoch, ist mit dem Mietwagen aber auch schnell in jedem anderen Ort auf der Insel. Wir waren froh, unsere Unterkunft in Santana gebucht zu haben. Santana ist wie eine Art Rückzugsort nach einem anstrengenden Tag in einer Großstadt wie z.B. Funchal (wo viel Verkehr herrscht, die Straßen z.T. sehr unübersichtlich und bergig sind und die Parksituation nicht die Beste ist). In Santana muss man aber auch berücksichtigen, dass sich die Wetterlage insgesamt sehr schnell ändern kann :)

Pros: Perfekte Lage für Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Pico Ruivo, Arieiro... Gastgeberin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Apartment war sehr groß und geräumig im Portugiesischem Rustikalem Stil was uns sehr gefallen hat. Es war zudem auch sehr sauber und am Abend sehr leise. Würden auf jeden Fall nochmal hier herkommen. Danke Maria😄

Una casetta incantevole

Pros: Casa grande e con ogni comfort, cucina attrezzata e terrazzino incantevole. Maria è stata gentilissima a venirci a prendere perche non trovavamo l’indirizzo. Panorama vista mare

Cons: Un pochino umida ma a Madeira è normale

Mooi ruim appartement net buiten Santana

Pros: Zeer vriendelijke host. Heel ruimtelijk appartement met groot balkon

Cons: De bedden waren smal en vooral ook kort.

Pros: Parkplatz. Hübsches Haus Ihnen und draußen. Kamin.
