Casa da Olides - Studio

A beautifully designed and very clean apartment where we honestly wished we could stay longer.

Pros: This was the most beautiful apartment we have stayed in Madeira so far. Everything felt tasteful and well-designed, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the apartment had all essentials including stove, kitchenware and radiators. We really appreciated how spotless it was.

Cons: The bed could be a bit bigger and a washing machine would have been useful.

Great apartment - Highly recommend

Pros: The apartment was extremely clean, in a great location, and had everything you could need. Sandra was exceptional throughout. Highly recommend, as this was the best place that we've stayed in!

A lovely beginning to our stay in Madeira.

Pros: Wonderfully thoughtful host who even got her Mum to buy us some extra complimentary food as we were arriving very late. Lovely space, warm, cozy and stylishly furnished and decorated. Very comfortable bed and lounge. Nice spot to sit outside in the sun on the back terrace. Well equipped kitchen with cooktop, toaster and electric kettle with variety of teas, coffee machine and pods.

Cons: We did bump our heads on the sloped bedroom wall sometimes. Aesthetically, it is in the best spot, but practically might be best to move it to the opposite wall.

Good for a night if you are in the area.

Pros: A great little studio in the east of Madeira. The studio is very well outfitted with everything we needed. Everything was clean, comfortable and check in was super easy. Host was very communicative by email and very nice.

Cons: After a bit of reflection the price was too high compared to the other 3 other places we stayed.

Pros: Excellent apartment with all the amenities one would need . Tastefully furnished and in a beautiful location. Sandra helped make our check in and stay very comfortable. The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures show.

Cons: Everything was perfect . The only thing we would change is to have a washing machine in the apartment so that we can stay much longer on our next visit 😁

Absolutely wonderful!

Pros: The studio is very clean, well equipped and just feels like home! You can tell Sandra and Olides put a lot of effort in it. It was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! The bed was so comfortable, the studio was cosy, the views are amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to contact. There were cookies, fruit and wine waiting for us when we arrived and they even brought over fresh traditional bread one day. The location is great for exploring that side of the island. There are some pretty viewpoints nearby, the beach is a couple of minutes by car and there is a big supermarket in the village. I could not recommend this more.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Perfect accommodation even for a longer stay. The apartments are large, spacious, clean. New furniture, special attention paid to details - dishes, decorations, it was good to be like at home. The apartments are located in the mountains, where silence, quality rest, and fresh air will await you. It was wonderful to always have free parking. We lived in Madeira for 3 weeks in various accommodations and this one was the best of all - I recommend it!

We would have loved to have stayed longer.

Pros: We loved this studio it had everything we needed for our stay, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. It was comfortable, well equipped and great scenery around the studio.

Pros: It is like being home away from home. Beautiful place with all you need and with excellent taste. Well maintained and clean. Staff very helpful and even beyond :) loved it!

Cons: The bed is a bit small for two. Further improvement would be to have a small washing machine.
