Good place for short or long stay with fair price
Pros: Nice, very clean place, room was spacious, very well equipped kitchenette, extra blankets, an iron everything what is needed.
Cons: The place is located up hill, so without a car it was difficult to walk up everyday

Beautiful property, well equipped, clean pool, scenic view
Pros: Beautiful location, very spacious room, equipped with everything you need, comfortable beds, scenic views from the pool area, staff very accommodating and helpful. Snack bar with affordable prices and simple local menu. Oh, and the rabbit ❤️

Pros: Really nice, v.clean room and comfy bed, try get a room with balcony with a sea view. It's a bit of a slog up the hill, but very peaceful once you arrive. And there's a pool !

Lovely stay
Pros: The view from the bar/swimming pool is incredible! The staff are super lovely. Nice big clean rooms and close to city centre.
Cons: It sure is a mighty climb to get to without a car! The rooms are not sound proof and the economy rooms are right next to the entrance and bar and can get a bit noisy. With ear plugs I'm sure it's fine and the non economy rooms are not near the bar so should be fine.

Lovely Stay in the beautiful Madeira
Pros: The room was excellent, very private and calm, with no distractions or worries at all. It felt like a space where I could genuinely switch off and be comfortable. I really enjoyed the walk into the city center. It was peaceful and pleasant, and doing it at my own pace made it even better. Overall, the stay felt very relaxing and grounding. A comfortable, quiet place that made solo time feel easy and restorative.
Cons: There are a few areas that could be improved. Changing towels or requesting room cleaning comes at an additional cost, starting at around €20, which felt a bit high. Breakfast is also not included but you can order separtely ofcourse. In addition, the walk uphill to the property can be tiring, especially after a long day, though this is something I could mostly overlook. That said, aside from the additional charges, these are relatively minor points. It would be helpful if at least two sets of towels were provided by default to cover different needs.

Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a very nice view from the room. The bed was comfy. The staff were very nice. They were friendly and helpful. Would llook to stay here again if I returned to Madeira. .
Cons: There is nothing to not like about the staff or place.

Pros: The view from the room was lovely, and the dishes provided in the room + the mini fridge were perfect for having a little snack and drink on the veranda in the evenings. We also appreciated the drying rack and ironing board in the room. Although the rooms obviously are a little outdated, they have been maintained with care, and everything felt clean. The staff was very friendly, happy to chat, and give travel tips. The general atmosphere in the snack bar and around the pool was very nice, even off-season in January. The city center is a quick 15-minute walk away (however, on the way back you are walking 15min uphill).
Cons: There was basically only one usable outlet in the room, opposite side of the bed. So do note in case you travel with a lot of electronics.
