Delightful . Would stay again

Pros: Lovely one bedroomed house in delightful grounds, with great views over Funchal . Use of large pool and very secure parking . Greeted warmly by Bruno , who was very helpful throughout

Cons: Visitors need to be aware that it is a 20/25 minute walk into the main part of town, steeply uphill on the return . However , there is a bus , and the taxi ride is very reasonable

A brilliant host, a gorgeous villa.

Pros: Maria is a sweet host who toured us around the villa when we arrived. There was also a light breakfast prepared for us on the first day and snacks in the fridge which was a nice surprise. That bottle of hot sauce is amazing! She responds to any questions or requests you may have and lives next to the accommodation. The villa itself is beautiful with nice views from the lookout, a large pool, and a wonderful plant selection in the garden/surroundings. It has all the necessary amenities. The city centre is roughly a 15 min walk. There are local shops and restaurants too. Maria will absolutely take care of you. Thanks for having us!

Cons: This didn't bother us too much but there's a few things to know. If you are sleeping upstairs, then it will be noisy from the cars, and the sofa bed may be a little too firm and narrow for some but I still slept very well. Walking back up can be a workout as it's pretty steep but we just took a Bolt taxi back to the villa each time. The shower drains slowly. The pool is not heated.

Pros: Nice and clean , great and helpful host , good size pool and amazing parking ! Would highly recommend this host ! The owner even prepared us breakfast the day we arrived

Lovely place, lots of space, great pool, walking distance to centre of Funchal

Pros: Lots of space, lovely big pool (although a little too cold in March for a dip). Well equipped kitchen. 10-15 minute walk into centre (albeit a steep hill). Great view

Cons: Two single beds, would've preferred double. And they were a little short (for me I am 6 foot).

Pros: Great accommodation, well equipped and clean. The owner Maria is very friendly and hospitable, she communicated with us about our needs before our arrival. At the agreed arrival time, she was waiting for us, showed and explained everything necessary. We also had a swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas and a parking space. On the day of arrival, there was also some food waiting for us in the fridge.

Pros: I totally loved it! Till we arrived I thought that we will be sharing the house and pool with other guests but it was completely for us. Comfy beds, large living room, kitchen, we had everything we needed. Maria, the host was suuuper nice and she even prepared a little of food and sweets for us to the fridge and living room. The view from the garden is awesome yet it is really private and noone can see you by the pool. Also the view is orientated to the west so you can see sunset right from the pool. Maria lives in the second house so she helped us when we locked the keys inside accidentaly. There is a bus stop right in front of the house and the bus line goes right to the city center. Everything was gorgeous and if I will ever go to Madeira again, I will definitely try to book this accomodation. ❤️

Pros: Frukost skulle inte ingå i priset. Dock hade värdinnan överraskat med att duka en första frukost som välkomstgåva vilket förstås var mycket uppskattat. Resten av dagarna ordnade vi egen frukost och det fanns en stor matbutik (Continente) alldeles i närheten.

Pros: Odlična lokacija s bazenom i pogledom na grad i ocean. Ljubazna vlasnica koja nam je napunila frižider s nešto namirnica jer smo došli kasno.

Cons: Treći krevet je jako neudoban.

Wunderschön

Pros: Eine wunderschöne gepflegte Unterkunft, eigener riesiger Pool, liebevolle Betreuung durch die Vermieterin. Zum Empfang gab es einen schön gedeckten Tisch fürs Frühstück mit frischem Brot und einem Obstkorb mit frischen Früchten und einen gut gefüllten Kühlschrank. Maria hat für meinen 14jährigen Enkel extra das Bett im Obergeschoss hergerichtet. So hatte jeder von uns beiden Privatsphäre! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sehr gut erholt. Wenn wieder nach Madeira, dann nur hierhin.

Fantastisch!

Pros: Prima ligging t.o.v. centrum. Mooi ruim huis met heerlijk groot zwembad in de tuin. Top host waarvoor niets te veel is. Er stond bij aankomst wat te eten en drinken voor ons klaar. Alles in het huis aanwezig, parkeren op eigen terrein. Aanrader!
