Pros: The apartment had everything we needed. Beautiful scenery from the terraces. Great kitchen facilities. Very clean.

Great apartment with lovely view

Pros: The apartment is big, airy, with two terraces (with tables, chairs, sun beds). Comfortable beds, clean and well-functioning bathroom, barbeque on the terrace (for who wants to cook :)), well-appointed kitchen. It is close to all the places we wanted to see in the north and east of the island. There is a car parking space under the building, which is good, since parking on the street is difficult. The view is wonderful. All in all exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Pros: The apartment is recently renovated and everything looks good and new. We liked the view. Comfortable bed. The apartment is on the second floor. The owners live on the first floor and available for questions. There is a dehumidifier there! The most essential device for Madeira climate. Drive in and parking in a carport is relatively convenient. Santana is a perfect location to explore the north coast. Not far away from airport and capital, but still on the north. Two hiking starting points are nearby: Queimadas and Achada do Teixeira. Santana also has an only large supermarket on the whole north coast, so you can buy delicious food right there. No such option in Porto Moniz or Seixal.

Cons: Knives are hopelessly blunt so we mostly used our Swiss knife in the kitchen. My constant message to all owners: sharp you knives! There are absolutely no coat racks or something anywhere. So our jackets and hiking trousers were just lying on the floor and sofas around.

Lovely property with great views and a welcoming host

Pros: Great views from the property and the owner was very welcoming. The bread and wine to welcome us was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The outside space was great and included a barbecue.

Cons: Didn’t bother us but quite a steep walk from the town to the property

Great location with great views and with really uncomfortable bed.

Pros: The location was great, close to famous trails and still close to Funchal by car. The house has garage for one car. The terrace was beautiful with great views.

Cons: It smelled like mold, but it is probably normal in Madeira, because of wet weather. Also the beds were really uncomfortable. I would appreciate also better kitchen stuff.

Pros: Excellent and quiet place, private parking, very clean and lovely terrace. Very silent and deep in the vibe of Santana. Very useful tips from the host. Really top experience!

Pros: Traumhafte ruhige, stilvolle und große Unterkunft, mit Sonnenterrasse und Grillplatz. Küche mit super guter Ausstattung. Super Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Idealer Standort für Ausflüge in die Berge und an die Nordküste. Parkplatz direkt in der Garage am Haus - Zufahrt etwas tricky (sehr enge, steile Gasse)
