Pros: Beautiful quiet place, with lovely welcoming staff!!.and a truly memorable breakfast, with so much choice!!

Lovely place, village is not touristy which is nice.

Pros: Lovely staff, peaceful location, characterful décor. Room was clean and cosy.

Cons: Lounge area was a little cold for relaxing for long in winter. Sauna a bit expensive as an extra.

A unique and charming stay — perfect if you value atmosphere over modern comforts.

Pros: The villa has a lot of charm and character. Our upstairs room was airy, comfortable, and very clean. It’s on the small side, but nicely arranged so there is enough space for everything. Breakfast was simple but freshly prepared with a personal touch. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of cozy spots to relax, and the pool was always clean and never crowded. There is a supermarket and a restaurant within walking distance, and parking was always available if you rent a car. Best of all, the photos online actually match reality — a rare and pleasant surprise.

Cons: The green-ish studio room on the ground floor, where we spent one night, has separate shower and separate toilet, both divided from the room only by half-transparent glass doors. Two sinks to brush teeth etc are directly in the room. This is very impractical, smaller (and cheaper) rooms are actually much better in my opinion.

One of the top places in Madeira

Pros: I've stayed a couple of times here already and I must say is one of the best places in Madeira. You feel that you're at home. It's cozy and the staff is so wholesome. The breakfast is so fresh and delicious. The garden is a paradise that leads to inspiration and makes you dream. I just love it. The parking is great too. Oh! And it's quiet. Complete silence during nightime. Perfect for resting.

Pros: As a picky person I couldn’t imagine that I would find the best place to stay and give it 10/10. There is some things you can expect from hotels but this place is above everything. They think about every detail that you would feel comfortable in rooms and have a really good time around. How thoughtful is the garden, little places to drink coffee, the massage in greenhouse was amazing (as a masseuse can say she is really good!). The best place to choose for honeymoon with wonderful people and wonderful place!🧡We had no need to leave this beautiful house, would stay there all week. Thanks for everyone who works here you made our time sweeter!🍯🐝

Charming gem that could use small improvements

Pros: The place is extremely charming, the garden is breathtaking. The common areas like the living room and kitchen/dining room where breakfast is served are full of character. The staff is extremely friendly and cordial. The breakfast “experience” was great. Freshly cooked food (eggs, bacon and such) and plenty of choices in abundance.

Cons: The room (#4) is very small. Minimal space for storage and also the bed is small (140cm wide) for us that are use to the bigger size it was a bit uncomfortable. Also the pillows weren’t great, perhaps instead of 8 throw pillows it could be more interesting to have one good pillow for sleeping. The bathrooms as per photos of the hotel are a bit tricky - not much privacy. We stayed there in July but it was a bit too chilly to fully enjoy the amazing swimming pool.

We would love to come back.

Cons: The standard room is very small.
