Beautiful place to stay if you don’t mind driving up to the hill

Pros: Astonishing views, beautiful place to stay, big rooms. Rooms are nicer than in the old pictures on Booking.com- pitty for the hotel.

Cons: Bar, restaurant areas are super quite, would be great to have at least some music there to tend to stay there, also during breakfast. Terrible coffee at breakfast.

Pros: Spacious room, good restaurant, nice indoor pool and friendly staff. Overall a great experience. Price/quality ratio is excellent. Plus super comfortable beds. It may not be very modern but it has great charm.

Cons: Can’t think of anything unless the gym maybe which hasn’t that much to offer.

Beautiful hotel and location

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel, I would definitely recommend. The location was perfect, the staff were lovely, gorgeous big rooms, very clean, and the breakfast was good.

Cons: A heated indoor pool would be good, It was to cold to use the pool in February

Great atmosphere

Pros: The hotel has a unique atmosphere and a great garden. We had a sapcious room, bigger than most in this price range. Staff was nice, breakfast is delicious. It is on the top of the hill so you might need a car. The famous mountain sledge starts jus below the entrance.

Very pleasant if you want to get out of town

Pros: We liked the location which was up in the hills with stunning views and next to the Tropical Gardens and cable car. There was a good restaurant a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and very clean but the bathroom is in need of a makeover- new shower head needed and brighter lighting. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The outside bar was great with super views.

Cons: Just the bathroom and the lighting in the dining room was far too bright for evening meals- it lacked atmosphere. Dinner menu was very limited but it does change daily. We only dined there once and the service was excellent, the food was quite basic.
