Pleasant comfortable hotel.

Pros: Clean, comfortable room with balcony. Good views of Funchal.

Cons: WiFi at best intermittent and then very weak. Very poor phone signal.

Idyllic

Pros: Idyllic, not too busy, clean, comfortable , plenty of parking space and bus stop in front of the hotel.

Cons: You do need to take the car or bus to get anywhere. The street isn't easily walkable.

Gorgeous views, kind staff, good location.

Pros: Gorgeous property. Although almost nothing is walkable in the area, the property itself was gorgeous. The rooftop is spacious and well maintained. The pool is great. The staff is very kind and we dined at the restaurant every night. It is a convenient location if you have a car. We would love to come back.

Cons: The water was often luke warm if not even cold. I'm sure it was due to showering during busy times during peak season though.

נחמד מאד אבל לא נחזור..

Pros: קודם כל את הנוף המדהים מהחדר! האוקיינוס והעיר פונשל. המלון במרחק כ 15 דק נסיעה מהעיר, גבוה על הצוק בסאו גונסלו. החדר גדול ומרווח עם מרפסת, חדר האמבטיה והשירותים גדול ומרווח. יש הרבה תאורה בחדר, מים וסודה במיני בר חופשי. המסעדה לארוחת ערב מצוינת וגדולה מאד, ואפשר לשבת בחוץ לצפות בנוף.

Cons: הברז טלפון במקלחת עבר כמה פעמים באופן מסוכן בבת אחת למים רותחים ולמרות שדיווחנו על זה, המלון לא תיקן. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה נחמדה, הרבה אוכל, אבל לא מלהיבה ומונוטונית. לא החליפו את המצעים שלנו כל השהייה, 6 ימים.

Pros: Um Ausflüge zu machen hat das Hotel eine super Lage. Es waren genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit einer Wahnsinns Aussicht! Und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Pros: Die Aussicht war perfekt. Die Entfernung nach Funchal ideal.

Cons: Leider ziemlich laut für Gäste die lieber mit offenen Fenster schlafen. Um 6 Uhr fahren bereits Busse auf der direkt davor liegenden kurvenreichen Strasse. Darüber hinaus hat ein Kanaldeckel ein Spiel und jedes Fahrzeug welches darüber fährt macht einen Knall.

Pros: Überschaubar, freundlich und familär in Anlage und Organisation. Der perfekte Ort für einen Aufenthalt in Funchal.

Cons: Die stark befahrene Straße vor dem Hotel ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man meint, dass der Bus neben dem Bett hält. Ist aber für Funchals Verkehrssituation nachvollziehbar. Man kann sich darauf einstellen..

Pros: Chambre supérieure dans nouveau bâtiment avec grande terrasse et superbe vue panoramique sur la mer et baie de Funchal avec la ville au fond, Chambre très récente avec salle de bains au gout du jour. Piscine tout en haut de l'hôtel avec très beau jardin et grandes terrasses solarium; piscine très bien entretenu et de bonne dimension, bar de piscine. Terrasse de restaurant très agréable .

Cons: C'est le parcours du combattant pour rejoindre la chambre depuis le restaurant ou le lobby: prendre deux ascenseurs différents, dédale de couloirs qui n'en finissent pas . Hôtel compliqué pour trouver les différents lieux (il faut prendre un troisième ascenseur pour aller à la piscine !) Route très empruntée qui passe juste en bas de l'hôtel (camions, cars , etc ...) Beaucoup de bruit toute la journée et début de soirée. Obligés de fermer la baie vitrée pour écouter la télévision ou faire une sieste ! Toutes les chambres donnent sur cette route ! Restaurant très cher pour Madère avec quasiment que des grillades au feu de bois (90€ à deux pour deux ponchas en apéritif, une entrée : boudin et chorizo grillés, deux plats chauds : brochettes et une bouteillle de vin à 20 € ! A éviter ! Petit-déjeuner limité en choix et produits moyens, café pas bon ( comme souvent dans les hôtels de Madère ) Grande terrasse de chambre mais çà serait mieux avec des sunbeds, pas de cafetière ni bouilloire, pas de distributeur de mouchoirs.
