Sentido Galomar - Adults Only

Pros: A wonderful breakfast, great ocean view, pretty close to the airport and comfy room

Cons: The indoor pool (and spa center, gym+sauna) are outside the hotel.

Lovely adults only complex, just the right size, in January didn't feel crowded

Pros: Room had a side sea view, was nice. Station to refill your bottle in the lobby. Sauna is free to use for hotel guests, has a lovely view also, witnessed a great sunset. Hotel has a few terraces where you can enjoy the view of the ocean. Bathroom has a refillable shampoo/soap in the shower. They didn't give us a double bed like we asked for but instead arranged for a special cover that made it feel like a double bed even though there were 2 single beds.

Cons: It is not as much of a dislike but more a comment about the breakfast that was served. Everything served truly was tasty, fresh, had a great variety; but for a breakfast buffet to be fabulous; well in my opinion lacks some choices (soups, international choices, smoothies, alternatives to coffee, home made spreads, porridge, bowls, gluten/lactose free options..). Again, don't get me wrong, breakfast was very good; it's just my opinion on usage of the word \

Excellent hotel. Nothing to fault really

Pros: The rooms are great, staff are very helpful. Views from the restaurant and bar and saunas are just fantastic

Cons: Nothing. My wife would like the outdoor pool to be heated a bit more in winter.

Pros: Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Exceptionally friendly staff. Great extra activities and facilities - aqua aerobic, sauna, evenings with music. Fantastic cliff and ocean views.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The hotel has a beautiful beachfront location. The suites look fresh, modern, spacious, and bright. The ocean view from the window is stunning. You can watch the sunrise every morning from your bed. The staff is very friendly. Good choices for breakfast. The neighborhood is also very cozy. A lot of street parking around, so it's not a problem to find a spot anytime.

Cons: The bathroom has no door. I would never comprehend that design choice. I didn't see that in the photos while making the booking. I’d chosen something different instead. The Wi-Fi signal was always weak. I couldn’t even use it once. Insects - I would not recommend leaving any food in the suite, or be prepared to watch a colony of insects living their best life next to you.

Loved outstay - we will go again

Pros: Comfortable and clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Cons: Not many restaurants around to walk to in the evening.

Cons: Would have preferred at least 1 freshwater pool

Relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Pros: Excellent options included such as sauna and ocean water pools. Also access to the ocean is easy and fast. Delicious and nutrient breakfast with enough of various dishes. Friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely stay here once again in occasion of visiting Madeira!

Pros: Spectacular ocean view, easy to use AirCon, comfy beds, and wonderful staff.

Cons: Our room had a small problem with ants, so any food we left out (e.g. a banana) attracted lots of them.

Lovely hotel, staff, breakfast and sea access!

Pros: Comfortable and quiet stay, excellent breakfast, and easy access to the beautiful sea. The sea temperature was sweet, the water was clear, and the fish life great! The hotel staff noted our wedding anniversary stay and return visit, with some very thoughtful touches.

Cons: Nothing.
