A great central location for the city and a very reasonable price, staff very friendly..

Pros: The hotel was in a great centrally located position the rooms were lovely and we loved the garden when we had breakfast

Warm and cozy hotel!

Pros: It was a very warm and comfortable stay, as we visited best of Madeira and all it can offer. Clean and spacious, and a great value for money. Although the furniture was a bit old, it was always very clean and tidy in the room. There was parking available at additional cost, which was great for us!

Cons: No AC in the room, which we would’ve appreciated on the warm nights.

Pros: The room had everything we needed. Plus, paying attention to details, there was even a soap dish in the bathroom! Location is great too! It's in the center in Funchal and a supermarket is nearby. The owner is very friendly and she explained all about fruits and flowers in Madeira for us.

Cons: The parking is very challenging. Make sure to go with a small car.

Perfect choice for a short stay on Madeira.

Pros: Perfect location, close to the city centre, you have all you need within a walking distance. The room was very clean and well-equipped.

Pros: This is a cute hotel very near the centre - it's near the shopping centre and the supermarket, which is very convenient. The room was spacious enough. The staff was friendly and very accomodating.

Cons: The only real downside is that the road to it is very steep and paved with tiny stones (horrible if you are travelling with a suitcase on wheels) but it's like this probably everywhere in Madeira 😃

Pros: Manuela was a great host and super friendly. The location is amazing, no busy roads nearby and the view from my room was really nice and appreciated. The bed was old style but the mattress was good for my back. It is a great value for money and definitely exceeded my expectations.

Cons: The walls were a bit thin, but my neighbours were quiet by 10.30pm, so it wasn't an issue. I slept very well there and I usually suffer from insomnia.

Pros: Great location and a lovely building, a bit of a hidden gem. There was a little garden and bar but seems to only be open at breakfast at this time of year. Very close to la vie shopping centre, and the fort which is a bit of a hike but with great views. The beds were a bit hard and the street a bit noisy, but all in all we were very pleased with the hotel. I'd definitely stay again. Suitable for solo travellers too.
