Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Great location. Sparkly clean room & friendly cleaners. Excellent, helpful & proactive restaurant staff. Great selection of food for breakfast & dinner. Beautiful view from room. Spacious room and very comfortable. Very welcoming staff and helpful. Well maintained and very clean hotel. Underground parking.

Anniversary at an amazing Hotel.

Pros: We had a comfortable stay, the staff were friendly always and definitely benefitted from the underground parking available to guests. The breakfast buffet was varied with a large selection. What a treat. Also due to immediate access to the sea, we enjoyed the salty air. The room (in our case two rooms...) was exceedingly clean, as in no hair in the shower, no soap marks, and no smoke residue. Sheets were crisp and fresh and the beds firm. Also I found the room to be slightly larger than average for a Studio.

Cons: At check-in we weren't provided the correct room, until we inquired about what the balcony looks like (we selected a balcony with our room). This was sorted out by another member of staff around an hour after our arrival, with proof from our booking confirmation email to substantiate our claim. Secondly, the coffee at the breakfast buffet dispensed from the machines was terrible. Just don't. The bar fridge in our room was not cold, and being built inside the cupboard it produced much heat, to the point that we left the door open to assist with refrigeration. It didn't help much to keep a wine bottle cold.

Pros: What a lovely hotel located in an absolutely beautiful bay with its own amazing waterfall. Reception and breakfast staff, couldn't be more friendly, helpful, and kind. Thank you all!

Cons: Although it wasn't the hotel fault, and staff tried to be as helpful as possible, it was a big street party and concert that made our last night entirely sleepless. When booking your holiday, watch out for any village parties around your stay.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they even offered us a free upgrade and we had beautiful views over the bay. The room was exceptionally clean, well presented and had everything you needed.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and situated right on the beach. My hotel room basically looked like a suite, so I felt I got a lot of value for the money. Buffet breakfast was included, which was very good and varied. The staff were helpful and kind. Furthermore, there is a indoor garage for the guests. Overall very satisfied with my stay.

Great for sunset. Over priced though.

Pros: Right on the beach (Rocky beach) and well located for sunset.

Cons: Over priced for what you get. The room size was ok but the walls are thin and any noise from the corridor or neighbours, is very well heard. The wifi is terrible so i had to use 5G to achieve anything. Not much to see and do in that particular area but only a 30 minute drive to Funchal.

Pros: Great view from the room. Exceptionally large space. Lovely modern bathroom with great shower. Free parking under the hotel with lift to reception area.
