Pros: It was absolutely breathtaking! Definitely coming back again:)

Pros: With all the feel of a log cabin in a wonderfully remote location, these eco-shelters are incredibly comfortable, with a superb shower, neat little kitchenette, and a wonderfully comfortable attic bedroom. Just nine of them are dotted across the hillside, with a wide veranda and immediate access to some excellent walking - including up to Pico do Arrieiro. The bar/restaurant within easy walking distance is another plus.

Pros: The host was fantastic, so friendly, professional and helpful. The shelters are located right at the centre of plenty of hiking trails. Very peaceful. The shelter was very clean, cosy and modern. A 10/10 restaurant/bar is located a short walk from the accommodation with delicious food and drink, suitable for breakfast lunch and an evening meal.

Cons: Roads on the entire island of Madeira are very narrow and steep, careful driving is needed!

Pros: Lo shelter è accogliente, bello, in un bellissimo parco immerso nella natura dove di notte si sentono solo i versi di qualche animale e si vedono moltissime stelle. Un posto davvero perfetto per staccare la spina e rigenerarsi. Bello fare colazione all'aperto con vista montagne. Il proprietario disponibile e gentile. Letto comodissimo e freschino alla sera a luglio.

Cons: Siamo rimasti delusi che in un posto del genere non ci fosse la raccolta differenziata in casa. Consiglio inoltre di mettere a disposizione degli ospiti uno straccio per la cucina e uno per il bagno in modo da poter asciugare le superfici di legno e preservare la bellezza della struttura.

Amazing views and beautiful spot.

Pros: This place is great for those wanting to disconnect. The host was so supportive and attentive and fixed any issues immediately (one day water didn’t work). It’s also a 6-8 hour round trip to pico do Areiro hiking from the shelters, just follow the markers.

Cons: The shower only had enough heat for one shower at a time and sometimes didn’t have enough the heat for a longer shower.

Pros: wunderschön gelegen in den Bergen,vieles aus Holz und mit nachhaltigem Material und durchdacht

Super ruhiger Ort, mit allem was man braucht. Direkt an der Wanderroute.

Pros: Wir waren total überrascht von der top Ausstattung. ( Bei den Bilder kam das gar nicht so zur Geltung) Es fehlt an nichts und alles sehr neu und top modern. Das Häuschen beinhaltet Wohn/Essbereich wie eine Küche und DU/WC im unteren Bereich und im oberen Bereich ist das Bett. Als Schweizer kann mann sagen ein top modernes und super ausgestattetes Häuschen auf einer Alp.

Cons: Wem es wichtig ist. Der Internet - Empfang ist in dieser Gegend sehr schwach. Aber es hätte im Check-In Aus welches für alle Gäste zugänglich ist W-Lan

Pros: Die Art (Holzhütte als „Tiny-House“), die besondere Lage am Berg, die reizende Betreuung

Cons: Ein Fenster im Dach (Lüftung)

Ein super Aufenhalt, für uns halt alles gepasst.

Pros: Es ist sehr ruhig und man hat eine super Aussicht, Wanderungen können direkt vom Shelter gestartet werden. Die Möbel sind sehr hochwertig und passend. Es gibt eine tollen Aussichtspunkt mit Blick über Funchal, perfekt fürs Frühstück.

Cons: Es gibt keine Garderobenhaken😉
