Our best vacation

Pros: We loved everything about it. The location is perfect if you rent a car, you can reach every destination easily. The place itself is very lovely and cozy, the little garden and the large windows create a modern yet friendly atmosphere. The hosts were kind and helpful. It was very hard to leave:)

Pros: The location is great. The apartment has a small kitchen and a cozy garden! The windows have mosquito nets. Overall everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Cons: Perhaps the bed is a bit small for 2 people (140 cm width, I believe), but other than that, I have nothing negative to say.

Perfect localization

Pros: Very good communication with the host. Perfect localization between Funchal and Porto Camara do Lobos. Nice restaurant next to the apartment A Francesinha. Small garden to your exclusive use. Kitchen fully equipped.

Cons: It could be warmer but it was March, so you can expect lower temperatures. The host gave us heating device and it helped a lot.

Excellent place

Pros: Excellent location just by the coast, lovely cozy apartment with absolutely stunning garden. Easy access to Funchal City. Joanna and Oscar are great hosts! We already miss that place.

We also liked the location so that´s a plus for us.

Pros: Well I liked the communication with Joana from the beginning. She allowed us to accomodate earlier, made a reservation for rent a car. She was so kind to us that she even put our clothes to washing mashine. (After by appointment).

A peaceful stay in a lovely studio

Pros: The flat is very nice and comfy, it has a small garden too with many plants and banana trees. Everything was tidy and in very good condition! The host, Joanna, was very nice and welcoming :) Another big pro is the position of the flat, if you’re moving by public transport there’s a bus stop just in front of the house!

Cons: Unfortunately we stayed during some very hot days so we had to keep the main door open during the night in order to have some fresh air… maybe a mosquitoes net would be great so that they don’t get in :)

Homey place for a lovely vacation and relax

Pros: The local is a bit far from city center of Funchal but it's totally worth it since you just need to walk like 15 mins and you will get to the amazing Câmara de Lobos, personally I think it's much better than the city centre. The place is very quiet and safe. You can get some spices from their garden. A bit surprised was that the main entrance was never locked as I think it's really safe in the neighborhood. Their kitchen is equipped with all things that you need for a quick meal. I will be back for a winter hike and most likely this will be the place again. Thank you Joana!

Cons: probably the toilet lid is kinda malfunctioning. If it's possible for breakfast option, it will be great. For now, either climbing the hills (15-20 mins) or get something from the supermercado a day before. (pingo doce at Câmara de Lobos is very convenient)

Pros: Everything was perfect:))) very cozy and clean apartment with good location. And very nice owner. I recommend this place!

Joana and Oscar are very nice people. they recommended us local places. were very welcomed! we think to come back!

Pros: very cosy place. Good location is at the middle island. you can get easily every part of the island.
