A great place to stay!
Pros: A great apartment with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and I truly appreciated that there were two blankets, not just one big, because when you travel with a friend, you want to sleep under your own! The hosts were very kind, friendly, and helpful. If I came to Madeira again, I would definitely stay here. It’s close to the water, shops, markets, and more. Highly recommended! :)

Pros: Staff was very attentive. Location was absolutely a 10, just a couple of streets from old town but not directly in the busy area. Easy to park around. Quiet and compact apartment but with more than enough for a good stay.
Cons: If anything could be improved would be the quality of the bed. But that could be a bit subjective.

Pros: the apartment is in the center: 3-5 minutes walk to the old part of the city with restaurants, 10 minutes to another part of the city with a pier, from where excursions on the ocean depart. the apartment is renovated, well cleaned. the staff answered questions quickly on the Whats App, was always in touch, very friendly and ready to help with any question.
Cons: Unfortunately, although the apartment has been renovated, every time you come in from the street, you can smell the stale smell of the old house and in the morning, the shower can smell damp. Euro-size windows do not protect from street noise, if you are very sensitive to noise, this apartment is definitely not for you. There is no sidewalk to the apartment along the street, I would definitely not recommend it with children. The bed in the bedroom is 2 single beds that slide apart, the sofa in the kitchen is hard and old, I would not risk sleeping on it. In the summer, I think it will be stuffy and hot. If all these circumstances do not bother you and the most important thing for you is the location and relative comfort, a big city and its attractions, plus relatively inexpensive, then rent without hesitation.

Nice stay
Pros: Sarah, the host, was very welcoming, friendly and pleasant to talk with and she has a lot of great recommendations. The location of the apartment is also very central, it has easy access to the city center, a very good shopping center where you can buy groceries and many good restaurants within walking distance. I didn’t have any issues finding a parking in the street where the apartment is during my stay, which is free.

Complete appartement in center
Pros: Great appartement with everything you could have need on a week's stay. Fully equipped kitchen, even a private terrace. Location was perfectly located in between old town and city center. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and even let me check out late. Would Def book again when I come back to Madeira.
Cons: Very loud neighbors so bring earplugs.
