Relaxing and beautiful

Pros: I loved this hotel, we stayed in the Residence where the apartments are bigger. They many pools, only one outside one is heated, so the others are very cold! It was so relaxing with many places to sit if sun worship is not your thing. The onsite restaurants are excellent and breakfast is good. I will definately be back.

Cons: The pools are freezing!

Wonderful place to stay

Pros: We have stayed in this chain of hotels 4 times now and were really impressed that they upgraded us to a fabulous spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable and we had bathrobes, slippers and towels for the pool. It also included a kitchenette with comprehensive cooking facilities but we enjoyed eating out at the hotel restaurants. The Italian had a huge choice of food and was very popular, the Alfama was a bit more sophisticated and the buffet was good for when we were really hungry. All the staff were charming and helpful and it was great to be able to park our car there. The pools and gardens were also excellent and well maintained.

Pros: The hotel has beautiful garden and good location: next to the ocean and neae to a a bus stop. The staff was very kind and the food were tasty.

Cons: We got a room with a side ocean view and with street view, where was every single day live and loud music from 9 to 11 p.m.

Very nice hotel and I want to come back here again

Pros: I liked the room with access to the lawn, comfortable beds. Very tasty and varied breakfasts and dinners. Nice SPA center and clean pools. Comfortable rest.

Fabulous

Pros: We had an amazing stay. We were pleasantly surprise with a room upgrade, and having a Prosseco Brut at breakfast was such a lovely touch. Another lovely surprise was finding a bottle of Prosecco in my mom's apartment on her birthday. The hotel's reception team were welcoming, incredibly helpful and professional. The cleaning lady went above and beyond- checking on us and making sure we had right size of bathrobes. Delicious breakfast and dinner. There was a great selection at dinner, with Portuguse cuisine, and folk dance performance made the evening more memorable. Children really enjoyed it Truly excellent! We will definayely come back

Cons: It was excellent! the Madeira bottle of wines were slightly overpriced at dinner, which is to be expected at this level.

Pros: The hotel is massive and the facilities are great, staff are very attentive.Breakfast for non pork eater in kinda okey, but great.

Cons: More option for Muslim guest , in Terms of Breakfast options .

Pros: I liked the sea/garden view rooms. Those facing the street are of significantly lower value

Cons: The room we originally got was facing the street with live music each night, which was noisy and made our rest impossible

Great location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts.

Pros: really enjoyed the location of the hotel. The ocean is nearby, and there is a supermarket with a large parking area just next to it. The hotel has a beautiful territory and very tasty breakfasts. The staff were friendly and always responded very well to everything. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: The pools are somewhat outdated. It would also be nice to have an indoor children’s pool with at least a minimal set of toys.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and large pools overlooking the ocean in a fantastic location.

Pros: The location is a perfect distance from downtown (Bolt/taxi or longer walk), Lido, Pingo grocery stores, and to Sao Martinho, where we visited Madeira friends. Plus, the hotel is just down one street level, accessed by a staircase to the right, that has great restaurants. Pools and grounds, including an orchard garden, and sunset views are incredible. Additionally, there is live music every night. The 4 foot flower arrangements in the lobbies are beautiful! One of our favourite places to stay on the island because of its lovely large grounds which also escapes the noise of island traffic. Lot's of hot water too. Highly recommend!

Cons: The lighting in the room could be better near the closet and kitchen. I didn't like the door stop on the bathroom floor that one can step on. Maybe put a stop on the door that would touch at the front of the toilet instead.
