Pros: The owner and his son were really welcoming and helpful. They answered any questions and gave us good advice. They also helped to get a driver for some day trips. He was very knowledgable and reliable.

Pros: The host’s hospitality was exceptional. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh bread was provided every morning. On the last day, he even helped me find my way to the airport. The location is perfect; it’s quiet since it’s outside the city, yet close enough for easy access when needed. It’s also within the pickup radius for most tours.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet location, bus stop nearby. Clean, cleaned every day. Fresh pastries waiting every morning and when we arrived, freah fruits were on the table. Free parking on the street in the front of the house.

Cons: The kitchen was a bit cramped. Open space - if you need to move around at night or in the dark and/or turn on the light, your partner's sleep is disturbed.

Pros: We had an amazing time at these apartments! Everything was perfectly clean and very comfortable. The location is great — close to shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions and make sure we felt at home. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and all the small details that made our stay so pleasant.

We can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Joel and Bruno are amazing Owners! They could teach in school how to manage a hotel. Kindness, professionalism and perfection in every aspect of the services. Everywhere are cleanliness, the whole hotel is very well maintained. The cleaning lady is a professional, speaks also in english, our room looked every evening like on the first day. Welcome drink and a free bottle of wine at the end was just a kind extra! We will be back! Highly recommended!

Accommodation exceeded expectations with spotless daily cleaning, friendly staff and cool interiors

Pros: The best most professional accomodation we've been to. Firstly everything is perfectly clean from day 1 all up until the last day. Every day a cleaning lady takes care of the apartment and cleans it, but again she does it professionaly, and better than we've seen before. The apartment looked a bit old on the pictures, but in person you can see that it's all actually new, and it's just a special style of furniture. It's really charming in person. The people in the Villa were very friendly, helped with whatever we needed. Every morning we got fresh bread as well for breakfast, they leave it on the door knob. The view is beatiful. Centre of Funchal is a 10 min drive away. The high rating is really justified and worth it.

Pros: The accommodation was located a little further from the center, but it was easily accessible by bus or Uber. What made it a truly unique experience was the owner's kindness and hospitality. When we checked in, my colleague and I were in a hurry to get to the welcome dinner for our training course, and the owner welcomed us, spent half an hour telling us everything in detail, showing us around, and offering us some delicious local wine. Although we had to hurry afterwards, it was absolutely worth the experience. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to stay in an authentic, homey place and is not a fan of impersonal, anonymous check-ins. Although the accommodation is a little far from the center, it offers very good value for money. In Madeira, you spend the whole day sightseeing anyway, so it's the perfect place to stay in the evening.
