Apartments Madeira Old Town

Pros: Location was excellent, as described. The lady who met me on arrival was very efficient, informative and helpful. She organised my airport collection and drop off which was on time.

Fantastic location

Pros: We stayed in an apartment up the road. Very comfortable, and really friendly welcome. Excellent location - very near the old town centre and restaurants, and only slightly uphill.

First time in Madeira

Pros: Clean, comfortable apartment situated in the old town, Funchal. Helpful owner who answered any questions quickly. Everything needed for self catering holiday was provided . Short walk to local restaurants and amenities. Recommended!

Clean, spacious apartment in a great location with outstanding service from staff

Pros: Outstanding service from Marco who greeted me after a pre-arranged transfer from the airport to the apartment, assisted me with my bag up four flights of stairs, and gave me information about the apartment amenities and the area. Nothing was any trouble. The apartment was well appointed and spacious. While images showed a washing machine in the apartment, there wasn't one in the one I stayed in, however, there was one close by near their other apartments which I could use. The apartment is in a great location, with eating places within easy walking distance. Huge thanks to Guilhereme who helped me with my bag down the stairs. I would happily stay here again.

Can't recommend this place enough!

Pros: I can't recommend this place enough. We were welcomed by Sarah right as we came with an overview of the city from the rooftop and then of our room. Her hospitality made us feel right at home and she did her utmost to help us with whatever we needed. The flat itself is great - you have a table that seats three and an equipped kitchen with some of the basics like salt, pepper and oil already there. The bedroom was nice and the blinds helped make the room really dark even when it was light outside. The location is fabulous too - you're 12 minutes walking distance from the centre of town. I really can't say enough good things about this place and would definitely come back!

Cons: The only thing that wasn't amazing were the beds - they were just fine but could have been more comfortable, and perhaps the extra blankets with no quilt cover isn't the freshest idea when many different guests sleep under them. It would be nice to have proper changeable covers for all the blankets and pillows.

Pros: Nice welcome even though our flight was very late, great location in Funchal.

Great place to stay in Funchal

Pros: The apartments are close to everything in Old Town. It was good having our own kitchen so we could get ourselves breakfast. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Basalto and Sobar Tropical were excellent

Pros: The location was very good and the host was really very helpful and shared all information about Madeira like a local guide. All the amenities in the house were perfect

Cons: The view from the balcony could have been better

Pros: We had a wonderful one-week stay in this apartment. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed. Having free parking included was a big plus, especially in Funchal. The apartment was spotless, very quiet, and we didn’t hear any noise at all, which made it perfect for rest. It’s well equipped with everything essential for a comfortable stay, simple but just what you need. A great choice if you’re looking for a clean, peaceful, and convenient base in Funchal.
