Thank you for a pleasant stay in your apartment

Pros: First of all, the location is excellent, and the host is very responsive. We communicated via WhatsApp and always received quick and clear replies to all our questions. During our stay, there was a small issue with the bathroom sink. A service technician was called and resolved the problem the very next day. We also asked for an extra towel and were given a full set of towels, which was very pleasant and appreciated. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The bed linen is fresh and clean. The beds are comfortable, the mattresses are firm, nothing wobbles or squeaks. The windows are of good quality: when they are closed, the room is quiet and street noise is not noticeable. Overall, the apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would be happy to return again and will definitely recommend these apartments to others.

Cons: Below are a few small notes — not as criticism, but rather as suggestions to improve the service and to inform future guests about some minor details. A clock in the room would be very helpful. It is a small thing, but quite convenient. It would be nice to have a throw or bedspread for the bed, as it is not very hygienic to lie on the bed in outdoor clothes after coming in from outside. In the kitchen, hooks for kitchen towels are missing. A lid for the frying pan would also be useful. In the bathroom, it would be very helpful to add a long towel rail for drying towels or swimming trunks (swimsuit) — for example, under the sink or on the wall. A shoehorn would also be a useful addition. For those planning to cook at home: the kitchen sink is quite small, while the faucet is large and positioned close to the edge. As a result, water tends to splash around when washing dishes. A smaller faucet would help. This was probably the most noticeable inconvenience, but it is not critical. All these points are minor details and do not affect the overall positive impression.

Nice for a few days in centre of Funchal. Few improvements needed

Pros: Great location in centre of Funchal, lovely shower and fine for 2 people for a long weekend

Cons: The mattresses were pretty hard & uncomfortable so I would say it’s definitely worth in updating these as felt like sleeping on a wooden block. Few ants in kitchen when we arrived. Also not the best view out the balcony but only due to ongoing construction.

Pros: Ideal location, close to the sea front, safe, very comfortable.

Clean, beautiful & located centrally

Pros: Absolutely stunning penthouse, very spacious, clean and helpful staff. A few minutes walk to the beach/ harbour. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Funchal.

Cons: It was a bit difficult hard to find, due to construction work. Either than that. Perfect location.

Pros: Excellent location near the coast, quiet, walking distance to all amenities, safe, comfortable, easy check-in, helpful responses to queries. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again... perhaps after building work has been completed

Cons: Just no wardrobe to hang clothes, view of crane and building work from window

Great Location, Comfortable Studio Apartment with adequate facilities

Pros: The Property is situated at a Great location where everything is at at 5-10 minutes walk. The neighborhood has a very good vibe with lots of restaurants and pubs in the area. The property is just 5 minute walk from the promenade. The Studio apartment was spacious with good comfortable beds, Table Chairs, fully equipped kitchen & utensils. The washing machine facility was also available on the ground floor. Will recommend staying here if you are looking for good stay in center of Funchal.

Cons: The price of the room felt a little bit high. If it was a bit less then we would have felt more value for money. Otherwise we don't have any other thing that we didn't like.

Clean, functional space with good location.

Pros: At the start place was hard to find because construction site next to it. Easy to get in with given codes. We got 2nd floor and the window was facing that construction, which wasn’t the best but at least no one was working there while we were at home. Since there was 2 beds pushed together, there was quite a gap and we could not sleep tightly together. But overall bedding and mattress was very comfortable. Bathroom had powerful hairdryer, shower was big and clean. We didn’t use, but there is possibility to wash clothes on first floor. Looked like there was available washing powder. Also iron and ironing board. In kitchen was available kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and even hand blender. Also microwave. Drinking water from tap. Overall we are satisfied 👍🏽

Ideal location

Pros: Ideal location for exploring Funchal. Good cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by.

Cons: High cupboards!

Cons: Only thing what happened that made us uncomfortable was that the male staff opened our apartment door with his key without knocking and then saying oh sorry u were calling us.
