Lovely place to stay in Funchal

Pros: The staff is very welcoming and supports you where they can. I had a beautiful spacious room with a balcony and Ocean view (you can see the sunrise) and also a water cooker with tea and coffee which was refilled daily. Also the breakfast buffet has a big varierty every morning. The dinner is delicous with some special events like Fado or Folklore music. The massages are also very good and relaxing. There are enough parking lots along the street next to the Guesthouse, there was always free space. And it's just a 10min drive to the centre of Funchal. I had a wonderful stay at the Guesthouse.😊

Cons: The only negative point was that in my room which was just above the reception, you could hear all the arriving guests also at nighttime and leaving them in the morning.

Pros: In a very good location with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast selection is not large, but it was sufficient and tasty. The rooms are cleaned every day without having to ask. Everything is clean and smells fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

Pros: Very welcoming staff, clean room, comfy bed, nice balcony with a view, ok breakfast. Great and fair priced drinks at the bar. Would definitely come back again.

Cons: The only thing was too few power sockets in the room. To charge the phone you need to disconnect the bedside lamps 🤷‍♂️

Pros: We spent a week here and had a wonderful time! Our room was very cozy, sufficiently clean, and well equipped. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, the receptionist, the housekeeping staff and the restaurant employees (I would especially like to highlight the waitress working in the restaurant, who was extremely kind to us throughout our entire stay), everyone was very friendly and approachable. The breakfast and the restaurant’s selection were excellent. There are several free parking options near the accommodation, and we always found plenty of space for our car. Overall, we were very satisfied; it is a lovely place, and if we return to Madeira, we will definitely stay here again!
