Zarco B&B Bed & Breakfast

Pros: The location was great! Very easy to move around. The room was clean and had everything you need. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and flexibel. Good variety of breakfast.

Cons: On the third day the sewerage started to smell in the shower. This was not due to filth, it was clearly the sewerage. It didn't smell in the rest of the room.

Pros: Staff are really nice. I really appreciate their honesty.

Cons: Breakfast could have more choices, every day is same. The rooms are very small. Hardly can fit 2 people.

Pros: The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and well laid out. The location is fantastic, very central. Ideal for me as I was on my own because husband was in hospital in Funchal. I felt quite at home at this hotel. I would stay there again.

Pros: Everything went well during my stay. There was a friendly atmosphere and the staff was helpful. I loved the type of breakfast you offer because I found a nice variety of good quality food ( great fresh cheese, yoghurt, excellent bread and fruit ).

Cons: In my bathroom the toilet was very close to the wall and that was uncomfortable. Besides, I didn‘t like having to throw the toilet paper in the garbage instead of in the toilet ( but I can understand the reason for that ).

Pros: Great location, staff really friendly, good breakfast. Andre and Jaime in particular were amazing. Arranged packed breakfast for me when I was leaving early.

Pros: Excellent location in the centre of Funchal. Great for transport in and around Madeira. Breakfast was fine for continental style. Helpful reception staff. Super clean. Only issue was I had quite a noisey room as very central and I sleep lightly. Ear plugs helped alot.

Pros: Located in the city center near all the tourist locations in Funchal with sea view from some hotel rooms. Offers breakfast package if you need leave before the breakfast starts. 24/7 reception is big plus.
