Everything was outstanding

Pros: Everything was perfect - we had a great room with an outstanding view and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff was more than super nice - so lovely! Our host was very welcoming and flexible. We really couldn't have had a better place to stay in Jardim do Mar.

Cons: Actually everything was perfect

Pros: The view was amazing from our room. Cecilia the host, she was nice, she doesn’t speak english so its hard to understand her, but her son and her daughter are speaking so better to communicate with them if you need anything. They answered fast, and everything was fixed fast. Since we were there for Christmas, they prepared free Christmas dinner for everybody who were staying in their house, which was sooo delicious. It was so nice to see the tradition they have. Breakfast was good, cake that Cecilia makes every morning was perfect. Place is not luxury, so do not expect that, but its just fine, nice people, amazing view and cute village. 🌸

Great place to stay

Beautiful sunset views and a town worth staying in Madeira

Pros: Cecilias House was a wonderful location with a breathtaking sunset view, delicious breakfast and well equipped guest house. The terrace is a beautiful place to enjoy some time and the family invited me to try out their home grown bananas from their garden and Cecilia bakes all of her delicious cakes herself. I felt like i can be in touch with the very natural family and nature life of Madeira whilst having a great room in the guest house in which i could hear the waves of the ocean.

Lovely stay

Pros: Cecilia is a kind host, the breakfast she serves is home baked cakes and breads and freshly squeezed juices and fruits from her garden, the accommodation is comfortable and clean with amazing views of the sea and her lovely garden. Loved staying here

Cons: Leaving!

We loved our stay.

Pros: The view and sound of the sea from our room was incredible. Cecelia was a warm and welcoming host and made delicious bread, cakes and juice for breakfast. It was also great to have muesli, Greek yogurt, bananas and apples and boiled eggs available for breakfast.

Most amazing stay on Madeira!

Pros: This was hands down the room with the best view I have ever stayed at. Located in the stunning village of Jardim do Mar (no cars, felt like Mamma Mia) this guesthouse is an oasis of peace. The rooms aren’t too big but there are enough common areas and of course the beautiful garden and terrace! Also the breakfast with selfmade cake and juice is lovely. Would love to come back soon!

Pros: Located in a charming town, the path leading up to the house is already worth the stay. Cecília is a lively, cheerful host who bakes great that you can enjoy for breakfast. The view is spectacular, we had a very relaxing and peaceful time, great location to discover the western part of the island.

Pros: Cecilia was very friendly. The property was very nice. The breakfast was great.

Cons: The room was very small and with no air conditioning.

If you get the chance, book it, you will not regret.

Pros: Breathtaking views, quiet, best place on the island to watch the sunset, nice outlay of the whole property. Nice location in the village of Jardim do Mar. Quiet but not too far away from the action. (Joe’s bar)
