Fabulous stay

Pros: Close to the city centre, lots of shops and restaurants around. Very clean and simple but yet effective. Very comfy bed. Fantastic seaview. Delicious breakfast with a great selection. Fab 360° rooftop bar.

Cons: The room wasn't soundproof at all, we could hear all the noises.

Decent hotel but in our opinion not 4 star (but we didn't use spa etc)

Pros: Soundproofing in rooms was good and breakfast buffet was excellent. Comfy beds and pillows. Plenty of clothes hangers. Kettle in room.

Cons: Staff impersonal and gave minimal information on arrival. No help with luggage. Communication poor beforehand re gala dinner and airport transfers. Holes in towels, tatty furniture, open wardrobe where we couldn't hang anything longer than a shirt. First impression of room was a budget hotel.

Pros: Clean, quiet, lots of additional stuff in the room - coffee, tea, different pillows etc. Sauna and gym included free of charge. Breakfast was good with a lot of options for both food and drink. Roof bar was a very nice addition. Pool area was great with sunbeds, couches and Bali beds.

Cons: Would’ve been nice if the pool was heated, unfortunately it was too cold to swim. Free parking could have been included for hotel guests.

Comfortable hotel in a good location with great staff

Pros: Not huge but well appointed comfortable room where all facilities were well thought out. Great shower. Good breakfast. Very friendly, smiley and helpful staff. Exceeded my expectations.

Cons: Nothing - it was all good.

Good hotel with kind staff

Pros: The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, there were anything what we have needed. The hotel location is perfect, there are many restaurants and shops near to the hotel. We would choose again if we come back

A RELAXED WEEK NEAR THE LIDO

Pros: access room was located only a few metres from recption on ground floor. meals were buffetstyle but very good hot and cold choice both for breakfast and dinner with waiter service for drinks.the topdeck 10th floor cocktail bar was a good place to enjoy a gin and tonic before dinner or a brandy with coffee! Poolside bar service was friendly and efficient. Dining hours were fine for brakfast and dinner. Entertainment on most nights but the DJ was awful . Rceotption ordered a 4 wheeled walker (for the elderly) delivered to the hotel-a tad expensive but essential. I enjoyed the week

Cons: access to the swimming pool is by laddersteps. there are no safety steps with handrail,so not really suitable for those with mobility issues. I managed in and out -but only just! website should highlight this shortfall.

Great stay in beautiful Madeira. Thank you to the team at the hotel!

Pros: Nice room with good sized balcony. Great location. Clean. Good amenities. The team at the Hotel were very helpful and very welcoming. They supported us with any queries we had and gave us recommendations on where to visit and what to do in the area. Great restaurant recommendations! The breakfast buffet was good and included fresh made to order omelettes. Sauna and steam room was a nice addition (booked with reception team). There is a small gym area and changing rooms.
